There is a reason we are "obsessed" with him. Has been our most important player the last 5 years. People forget fast i guess
He was important, sure, but the most important player over the last 4 years? Idk. Players come and go and if this one wants, we shall let him go for the right price. He's a great player and adds badassity to the team but I feel like we kinda overrate him. He wasn't all that great last season, in my eyes Tevez and Pogba (before injury) were carrying us on their backs.

Firstly, we aren't getting anywhere close to the 60-70m you mention. We are rumoured to be at about 40m, and if you think a team hoping to contend for the scudetto and CL are going to 'reinforce' with 40m in a market where Raheem Sterling costs 60m, then good luck with that. The only realistic plausible outcome of this negotiation is that we buy Oscar, who is nowhere close to Arturo in terms of dynamism and spirit. They may play different positions and he adds another dimension to our play style. Yet I can tell you, that at no point will you ever feel with Oscar on the pitch that Juve are playing with an extra man, like we did with Vidal. This is a player you just don't sell. Especially when he himself says he wants to finish his career at the club. You just don't do it.

It doesn't.
Couldn't have said it better myself, Vidal makes it look like we have an extra player on the pitch.

That is quite rare for a player to have that, he is box to box all game with a good attacking threat and an amazing work rate and tackling.

Best player in his position by a mile.

What is a proper number 10? And besides, in a season where you almost won the treble, if you're telling me that you have to sell a pillar of a team to get a proper number 10, then the club has a mental block with their mentality. They don't believe they are big enough.
Oh I don't know, Isco or Oscar? I don't want Vidal sold, but IF the club decided, what can we do? Just look at the bright sides man. This could be BS, this could be true.

If this is true and we don't get a proper AM, I'm gonna go mental though.

Bayern Munich offer €40m including bonuses for Arturo Vidal and it’s reported Juventus have accepted.

The story exploded over the last few hours and multiple sources, including Sky Sport Italia, claim the clubs have practically agreed terms.

Juve had asked for €45m, but will receive €40m including performance-related bonuses.

Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich is already in Munich to discuss personal terms and a move is imminent.

La Stampa suggest that deal is already done too, a four-year contract worth €6.5m per season.

The Chilean had already been extremely close to joining Bayern Munich from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011, creating huge controversy at the time between Juve and Bayern.

The Bianconeri paid €12.5m for the player at the time.

One club offers 40mln and.. he is gone.

But we are a big club, CL final was just a start, all big names say yes to us
And the sad thing is that should this come true, people would still find a way to defend it just because Marotta did good before.

Let's try what Merda fans did when the Guarin Vucinic swap was on the table. Stop this shit by any means. What is happening. Not Arturo. The last player I would have sold on our roster..:sergio:

There is no bright side to this. Juve have weakened themselves in ways they can't imagine.

Money from Vidal and Llorente sales gets us Cuadrado, Draxler and Alex Sandro? That's not too bad. I think Sturaro's development was key to this sale.
Cuadrado and draxler are shit, I'd rather have a world class AM and Alex Sandro but we know that's not happening, we'll end up bringing Aquilani on loan on transfer daedline...

We have to prey that Sturaro comes good. He won't be close to Vidal level for another couple of years I imagine but if he can play half as well as Vidal can for us this season it wouldn't be so bad.

I trust the management enough to know they know what they are doing and if they didn't have something planned they wouldn't sanction Vidal sale.
