30m+ is a big offer in my mind. Like I said, great player but no longer indispensable. I'm not basing that on his current form, but the fact that we play very well without him. I'm more open to letting him go and investing in a proper left back/centre back/attacking midfielder (if available on the market) than I was this summer.

"Play fine without him" isn't going to improve our CL chances for next year any. A midfield with Vidal, Marchiso and Pogba in form is a top 5 midfield in the world. A 30m left back isn't going to help us as much as a goal scoring, box to box midfielder with the best tackling ability in the roster.

Absolutely baffled people would consider anything but a ludicrous offer (60m) as acceptable. The short-sightedness is hilarious.

Shows the mentality and intelligence (or lack thereof) of some of our fans TBH. A few poor games from him, and all of a sudden he's sellable and we should get rid of him and "were fine without him". This shit beggars belief.

Selling Vidal? Disgusting idea IMO. We have to keep Pogba, Vidal and Marchisio at all costs since Pirlo is closer to leaving than ever. Leftback? Asamoah is there and we won't get any better IMO.

Very true.Once he turns to an old good Arturo he will be everyone's hero. It's a pity that after all the games he spelled blood for us and injury/operation/fitness problems all of a sudden he is to be replaced . With who ? A shame.

Like I said, not about his current form. The fact is we play very well without him. If money can be invested in other areas that improves our play even more I think we should at least consider it. I think it's deluded to think that he's worth 60 million, he's going to have to show a hell of a lot more in Europe to deserve that price tag. Also don't forget how indifferent he was to staying just a few months back. I don't get why people here seem to take these hypothetical suggestions so personally, getting angry and insulting other members. Don't imply that other members are dumb because they don't share your opinion, I don't do that to you.

Well, that game seems to be enough to regard the 4-3-1-2 as god reincarnated in a formation, so why not apply it to everything as the sole indicator as well?
