He was great tonight. Won possession so many times I lost count and that was in the first half alone. Was MoM for me until Claudio grabbed a brace at the end. His shooting was off but he was top notch regardless.

I don't care about the, at times, horrible shots which he had. This guy must have named every single blade of grass on the pitch today, that's how well he knew them all after running and tackling so much. Just taking a looking at how he exited the pitch when substituted, and how much he was panting and perspiring. I remember something Tacchinardi said about seeing players barely breaking a sweat and not wanting blood, he must appreciate the quality of this player. I love him tonight.
