I'm not saying he wasn't saying it in the dressing room, but quite frankly that is the only place he should be saying it. I dont know if you've ever been part of a team, but one of the key aspects of being in a team is unity and Melo should have had his teammates backs. If I can see my colleague doing something wrong I will tell him. If he doesn't listen I will tell him again, and try to help him. One thing I will not do would be to slag him off in public, if I did that he would lose respect for me, as would his colleagues. Its a basic rule of football and it was either a stunt to get moved on, or an example of Melo's poor judgement (not the first time...)

With regards to your comment about Amauri's/Iaqs and Motta's, i think your using really poor examples playing on your dislike for the individuals. I'd rather have a team of Buffon's/Chiellini's/Del Piero's and Nedved's. These are players that take responsibility when they are in the wrong, but always defend their team mates.
Actually Buffon is one of the guys that smiles and hugs with his opponents after losing effort. But since he's a legend, I don't mind.

Thing is. Our team is mostly Amauris, not Nedveds. It's unfortunate, but that's how it worked last year. We don't know how many times did Melo try to spark those players, or how did they respond to him. For all we know they could all be like "fuck you Melo, we are the best". Now that's an assumption from my part, but so is everything we talk about.

Normally doing that in Juventus would be bad, I agree. But after such a shitty season, after countless ball-less games, and pretty smiles afterwards, I think those players deserved this harsh words from one of the few guys that actually cared. And getting it to the public may finally spark they asses for next year.

Vidal seems to be another one that cares, therefore I would love to have him and Melo together on the pitch. It's unfortunate that we have to sell one to get another...

I think were not a million miles off with our opinions here. Melo should not have said what he did, it serves no purpose especially in close season. He basically lost the respect of his team mates, him doing this anyway makes me think that there was some kind of intra-squad rift but that's a different point..

I'm indifferent to Melo, but I think he was one of our better mids this season under the circumstances. But what he did in my eyes was unacceptable and as a result he was always going to b moving on this summer.

We don't know if he lost any respect of his teammates. We don't even know if he had any before that :p. All we do is assuming things. I think it's likely that nobody cared about that interview and Melo is going out cause Marotta feels like it or cause he can't sell anyone else.

nick makes me more nervous than chelsea's rival bid
Hey, I know you're joking with Nick in a friendly way, but I have one suggestion for you. You can accept it or refuse to do it, your choice. I noticed your occasional kicks at Janna and Nick after you proved that you have connections. I don't like it. You're winning at the moment and proving your credentials, but that must not make you sarcastic and arrogant. To be a real champion it's better to behave like one and show respect to those who are inferior to you. You know, like Del Piero does all the time. Be like Del Piero and you will not only be respected, but you will be loved to :agree:
The way you act with Nick and Janna, you are more like Mourinho than Del Piero.

It's just a friendly suggestion, don't take it in a bad way. I mean good.
