I like that midfield, but i'm not sure if we would have enough firepower to score goals with no support from the midfield and with ziegler as our LB.

It would be pretty offensive IMO, we'd have Aguero(?), Matri and Krasic roaming on the right side. Unlike last season we'd have a decent defense and not awful fullbacks. I think it could work very well. I think it would be much better than buying Diarra instead of Melo and keeping Marchisio... that would be pretty pointless.

true, but we need to upgrade our midfield somehow. either a better player to replace marchisio or one hell of a dm to replace melo.

I'd hate it if we plan to use Vidal as Pirlo's bodyguard. I only watched the first half yesterday and Chile's coach gave him strictly defensive duties from what I could notice. He can do that job, but I'm not sure if he can do it much better or any better at all than some of the guys we already have.
He must be given more freedom if you want to get the best out of him.

Vidal scored today against mexico. I know we are closely linked with this player but If we sign him or aguero first will we have enough to sing the other. I thought we only have around 50m to spend with the rest being used for debt?
