Negotiating tactic. Bayern again confirmed their interest on their official site today.

seems like it to me too - Bayern have their eyes set on VIdal and won;t let go of him so easily. They have the best offer too, 15 mil, I think, and Vidal's personal preference, if I remember correctly ... would take quite a lot more than 9-10 mil to land Vidal with Bayern in the race ... plus, it's not like Bayer have not sold to Bayern before, don't see why it should be so diff now with Vidal.

i also think we will use 5, 2 starters, 2 subs and a youngster.
Pirlo, Pazienza, Marchisio, youngster and Vidal would be 5, there is no more room for Lass or Honda, unless we sell Marchisio too!!
This is true. Umm...if it meant that we could bring a Champ like Lass I would sell Marchisio. Lass is a real boss Nigga...

Melo Pirlo Vidal as starters.

Pazienza Ekdal and Marchisio as their subs?

Diarra if melo is sold.

Does anyone know where Vidal would prefer to play...as in what country? Does he prefer staying in Germany or move abroad?

I believe he said that Bayern were his first choice ... my feeling is they have already "worked him over", so to speak.
may also have something to do with getting a German passport at some point in the future, given Vidal has been there for 4 years already.

:(

Well, let's see if Marotta can pull a "One Eyed Willie" over on Bayern.

I'd like to think he has an eye for detail. So let's "see".

Vidal clearly said that he will go where Levercusen will sell him. He said that he owns too much to the club which first showed trust in him and he will accept any decision they make. At the same time he said that Napoli and Juve are great clubs and at the same time Voeller came out saying that Bayern can pay the money Levercusen are asking for Vidal, but they still won't get him because Vidal will only be sold abroad.

Unless Voeller is trying to get much more from Bayern, I doubt Vidal will end up there considering the above.

And as it was said previously, do not pay attention to Bayern's site. They were writing about getting Diego even when it was clear that he's gonna play for Juve and everything was arranged between us, Werder and Diego.

If he respects so much Bayer why doesn't he renew his contract?
He probably wants a new experience. Looks like he's making a gentlemen agreement with Bayer.
"I want a new experience but I won't push for a transfer and I will let you decide where to sell me and for how much". Something along those lines.
