What's wrong with the French?
Nothing wrong with them for you or anyone else. Its just they seem to bug the english. No idea why.

Oh hell of course I know why. They come here with their pretentious attitudes and loud and rude shouting to get a better education, then rant and moan about how bad it is, complain about us, our lifestyle, our food, call me RosBef or whatever the hell it is in french thinking I dont get it. Then there is the little matter of history between the two nations. Yeah thats about it :D

No we dont go there to learn. Just for a short holiday and to admire all the sites (and huge amounts of dog crap) in Paris. :D
Thanks for clearing that up. So you get a lot of French students in your class? Do they all hate Liverpool? :D

IMO, the true quality of a league is judged by the quality of it's last placed team, not first. For example, who would win a game between Atalanta and WBA*
    LOOOOOOL

but an urging question is what is the logic behind this belief?

    what about it?? elaborate
Quite easy, the better the lower placed teams are the higher the level of competition in the league, hence more unpredictable results and and overall increase of quality.

The real sign of quality is the level of competition, which IMO, is determined by the strenght of the mid-table and relegation battling clubs, as well as the number of teams able to challenge for the title. Currently, it's 3 in the major european leagues (Juve/Milan/Inter, Chelsea/Arsenal/Manyoo, Barcelona/Real,Valencia, etc), altho at it's peak the Serie A had 7 teams to challenge for the title.
