2000 posts…Holy Odin ! How many wasted hours in the past two years does that equal? A lot, that's for sure. Especially considering the effort I did put in some of them. Anyway, I find dedication threads to be somewhat cheesy, so this one will differ a bit from your usual one in that 1) I am not going to be kind and honeyed with everybody. If I think you're a prick, I'll be sure to let you know. 2) I am leaving the forums after this. I won't say that I'll never come back, because we know how stupid I'll look if I do, but I am definitely leaving for the time being. Right now, this just doesn't cut it for me anymore. So sit down and help yourself a glass of grappa, a cup of tea or a can of coffee or coffee and cacca, as you are about to read the goodbye note of Kaiser Franco.

the fact that it took you two years to reach 2000 posts speaks volumes of your dedication to constructive well-thought posts. Forum milestones are cheesy no doubt; but if you're leaving know that ca serait un grand dommage de ne plus debiter de tirades avec un homme de votre intellectuel envergure, mes hommages et a bientot j'espere

Hmm I don't know about that; I like to eat in front of fasting religious people. It's a great source of happiness for me...

have to admit... I've enjoyed that guilty pleasure myself on occasion...
I guess if you understood the purpose of fasting, you wouldn't feel so smug.

But if it pleases you to believe that you're torturing said "faster" by eating in front of them, then who am I to deny you that pleasure...each to his own :)

It allways amazes me how people decide others dont understand something as they dont embrace it in the same way.... Coming from a family that strictly adhered to lent whilst growing up I really dont think there is anything that you can tell me about fasting or that i dont understand about it... But hey you continue making assumptions about people...

One time I made an assumption about you (I hope you still remember the conversation), and ever since I decided to stop this habit, it is really bad.

What, that Paul is a short, angry Brit, with a receeding hairline, a small ***** and a "the world owes me" attitude???

Nah, you pretty much hit the mark on that one, Jeeks. :D

Slowly but surely this place is dying
I say that to myself at times like this afternoon, when I come back from a 4-day weekend and see that I only missed about 9,000 posts in 110 threads.

As baggio stated "the classiest Milanista in here". Libero, what can i say but that i will miss you.

Your Beneluxian decadence and the ironic stings of your posts where a much needed bonus to this forum.

Sorry if i piss you off with my posts, they were intented to do it.
Thanks for your Calcio knowledge, your ample culture and your classy posts.

Ciao, libero, take care.

What's with the potshot, Paul?

Please show me where else I've made (groundless) assumptions about people. That's not a defiant challenge either; I'm just curious to find out where you got this impression.

The reason I made that assumption was that you described the act of eating in front of fasting people as a 'guilty pleasure', and if (as you say) you fully understood the purpose of fasting, you'd understand that there's nothing to feel guilty about...

Let's leave it at that though, there's little point in making this a point of 'discussion'
