what will we do without that 3M.

here comes Morata
It’s not even about his sale because i don’t think we were planning to offload him just yet, but if it’s another major injury that he is facing then it’s more than likely that we will need to invest in buying another reliable backup ST ourselves, while still keeping Milik on the payroll too, which it’s not ideal.

Arkadiusz #Milik will have to undergo minor surgery after an injury received in a friendly match yesterday. The Juventus striker will inevitably miss the European Championship. Possible recovery time: 4/6 weeks.

So he will miss the transfer window and he will be ready for a new season full of promise and goals.

Thankfully it wasn’t a major injury and we can at least still use him as a backup, didn’t really have a market anyway although to be fair being available for the Euro’s might have helped a bit in that sense, can’t have it all go our way i guess.

No way he's getting sold. We had the option of not signing him, but we did anyways. Now he's in the sweet spot for a forward where his salary is good enough that he doesn't want to leave and not too much that we have to actively sell him.
Probably a good time to point out to @Bianconero81 that Milik has 8 goals and an assist in ~1000 minutes this season while Chiesa has 10+3 in ~2500 :snoop:

I would expect a forward to have more goals than a winger though...or whatever Allegri decided to play him as :shifty:

No point selling him. He will be ready in time for the start of the season and nobody will be interested in him after that injury. He is a quality back up. If we do dispose of him, it will likely be in the winter transfer window

#Milik is leaving #Juventus: but at the moment, there are no real negotiations, just some interests manifested that could quickly take shape. The bianconero club wants to get close to €6/7M from his sale, exactly the sum paid to #Marseille for the redemption. A few weeks ago, #Everton has taken the first steps, then there were also #Brentford and #Newcastle. The Serie A trail should be excluded, due to his high salary (close €3.5M) that the clubs could hardly afford.
