His running up before taking a freekick is sight to behold. I remember that woeful penalty, the same run. Well taken this time though, although deflection did help.

Hopefully this were his last minutes
I don’t mind him as a rarely used impact sub but he is way too costly for such a limited role… if we are lucky enough that Coppa hattrick and FK goals have already convinced some Saudi team to pick him up this summer.

Well, looks like we’ve got our backup for Vlahovic.

Arkadiusz Milik:
"My future? I don’t plan on going anywhere. I feel good at Juventus and I can’t wait to start training again with my teammates. The managers have never mentioned their intention to sell me."

I think Milik is good enough to be Vlahovic’s back up. Seeking an alternative will be very costly and inhibit our ability to reinforce the midfield which should be the priority.
Not many strikers offer the variety he offers either. Scoring FKs, headers, holdup play (he's better than Dusan in that department imo), and decent passing. I think he should be kept.

it's the injury record that concerns me. let's see how he does with the new fitness staff. otherwise he's relatively cheap (costs below 7m per season, less than mckennie, current rugani, kostic or danilo), accepted his role, and he's obviously better than kean, or most backup 9's in the league for that matter. i'm not a fan, i think that we shouldn't have signed him in first place, but since he's here, he's not one of the most pressing issues to be solved
