I must admit I don't pay much attention to the Argentinian League apart from watching the big games involving Boca and River. But these fools who continuously state that the Brazilian League and Argie League are "subpar European leagues" don't know what they're talking about, especially when they believe that the starlets who play in said subpar league don't survive in Europe.

I also think a lot of the ignorance stems from good old European arrogance.

it's just a different feel and approach to the game, theres just so much passion for the game whether it be the players or the fans. It does seem to get amateurish at times (poor refereeing, monumental blunders) but it all adds to the drama which makes the whole affair more appealing. try to catch some clausura games on FSC.

no its not following that line of thinking empoli is european champ since they beat Milan, hence boca is as good as a CL winner

and how do you feel about simeone coaching the gallinas
Dude I haven't followed River ever since I lost FSC, I'm so out of the loop. What do you think of him? You follow the league from my understanding.

Spot on..just because teams like Santos, Sao Paulo, Boca etc dont play in the CL...some people here automatically assume they're as good as Empoli:disagree:

Thankfully, however, most people here understand that the Argie league is respectable and their products can succeed in Serie A. It's only a few people who don't, one of which shares the username of one of our Juventus legends, when he should call himself m_eleyan or some other bullshit. Laughable fucking farce.

Denis Bitten By Dog In Training Incident In one of the more bizarre injuries that could be picked up during a training session, Independiente striker German Denis was bitten by a dog during the team's return to training today.

During their first morning of training after the winter break, Independiente's session was interrupted when a dog ran onto the training pitch and took a bite out of striker German Denis.

Denis was shaken up by the whole incident, but it seems that he is in no danger of contracting any diseases from the bite according to the club doctor.

"It was scary, when he came running and I saw that he was facing me, I did not know what to do," Denis told TyC Sports.

"Luckily they controlled him quickly, but I would not wish that moment on anybody. According to the doctor, it is not necessary to vaccinate me."

Denis had just finished some weights work in the gymnasium, when he went outside to the park to do some light stretches. Soon after commencing this activity, the dog ran across the field and took a bite of Denis' rear-end.

The dog was quickly apprehended by bystanders and with the help of police, Denis tracked down the canine's owner and obtained the necessary details(kicked his ass lol)

After the club doctor confirmed that he was ok and would not require a vaccine, Denis did a few more light exercises before returning home.

Early reports suggest that the dog in question does not go by the name of 'Gnasher'.
