Because not a single day has gone by since January that I haven't worn the shoes that I bought back then. Meanwhile I've worn sunglasses maybe 3 weeks out of the year. Maybe if I had had them earlier I would have worn them more often, but still there's no comparison at all.

Hey if you live in Egypt where it never rains and you have bright sunlight every day I can buy that analogy. But a ton of people live in climates where shoes are easily 10x more useful than sunglasses.
People wear them even when it's winter.

I am kinda new to the sun glasses business. Baught my first 4-5 years ago and got my last rayban set around a year or more ago only. Costed me around $150. I liked a Bvlgari pair before but the proce was just too

Actually, you could easily argue they are more important during winter if there is a lot of snow where you live, cause the light reflects off the snow.

But that still presupposes lots and lots of bright sunlight during the year. Where I live I rarely even need sunglasses.

People wear sunglasses in winter? Never seen this yet in Romania or Lebanon.

Depends what you seek from a sunglass. Most people seek both, protection and style. If you're seeking only protection then the article you posted makes sense if you're into style then it's something else.

Personally, I'm into both, my last sunglasses I bought cost me around 65euro. I like it and I don't regret buying it though it's not cheap.
Exactly like me , I bought a Ray Ban sunglasses 3 months ago but I lost them recently :frown: .

Then, I just went for the cheap ones in the gas stations and black markets .

And two weeks ago ,I bought Carrera sunglasses , I really like their designs .

I bought one similar to this one :

Mine is silver not brown , costs me around $200 .

My sun glasses cost me 30 euros and they're quality. I get a lot of compliments so I'm more than satisfied with them.
