    good for you by the way, god knows I've tried but I just ain't strong enough :frown: I did manage three months without alcohol though..it makes a lot of difference to your fitness! :eek:

    So od a lot of things Tom. Guinness is good for the heart (in moderation), and wine is an anti-oxidant, so drinking has some benefits to go with the numerous, life-destroying problems.

    bloody hell, no alcohol for 3 months? damn, my friends tried to stop but managed only two weeks.
    1/2 pack of cigarettes a day. bunch of beer every weekend. but NO drugs. damn, my life is sad. :down::frown:

    mikhail, didn't know that..about guiness. Knew the bit about wine but then wine is horrible so I won't be benefitting from that anyway !

    It came out in a fairly recent study. It's only guinness though, it doesn't work for any other common beer.

    Wow, I was Peru's Gross National Product for a few years about 18 years ago.

    But drug-free since 1987.


    A glass of wine a day does the body good, though.
