I'm not sure if his wages will be increased at all. Well, at least judging from the fact that Melo was earning 2.6 in Juve and he's gonna earn 3.3m in Galatasaray +30k for every match he plays.
From what I heard (I think in this forum) there are 0% taxes for player's wages in Turkey.
Dam Melo is going to be ballin.

Fatih Terim will most probably resign from Galatasaray because of the problems with the board.
Nobody can make Terim resign. All the fans back up Terim and will always back up him. He had problem with football director a month ago and president moved our director to another position so Terim is all alone when it comes to team. It was similar thing with Mourinho vs Valdano. He's in charge all the way right now and currently he has problems with 2 people at board. But all the fans and president are on Terim's side, so either those 2 people at board will resign or they'll get used to Terim. Because there's no way anybody can make him resign.

Don't respect the mercato news, a month ago the newspapers reported that Arda Turan's transfer to Atletico Madrid is a done deal. Than nothing happened. Another story was the transfer of Atletico Madrid trio Forlan-Reyes-Ujfalusi to Galatasaray but only Ujfalusi is transferred.
Atletico Madrid were really interested in him and Arda wanted to leave as well. Because Turkish media is making him really uncomfortable. Whenever he goes out, there are 10 cameras everywhere he goes. His girlfriend is really famous actress and successful, they attract attention so much. Arda is always complaining about his privacy because so far he has no privacy with this girlfriend. That's one of the main reason why he wants to move out of country because Turkish media don't leave him alone. Whenever he has vacation for couple of days, he takes his girlfriend and goes to Europe. Turkish media is trying to make him turkish version of Beckham couple. But he doesn't want that. That's the main reason why he wanted to go to Atletico Madrid but now Terim is back as a coach and he wants Arda to stay. He will be staying with us because he sats Terim is like his second father. But he might leave for next season.

Yeah because it'll be so easy for her learning Italian and there is no sane person watching Juvechannel :D

Anyways, I feel like skipping this guy. Don't have a good feeling on him.

As for the player, his no doubt extremely talented player. Only 24, yet it seems like his been in football forever. Would be a great capture. I could even go onto say this is world class signing. We can give them melo, motta and pepe in return for arda. I think thats fair.

I didn't think Turkish league had money issues but I also didn't think they were billionaires. This year there seems to be a lot of activity on the market on their end. I even read that Besiktas is trying to sign Kobe Bryant :lol2:

I doubt this will develop into anything more than a rumor.

Just because you were born in Germany, that doesn't make you from that nationality.

Mesut Ozil refuses to sing German anthem, he even curses in Turkish when he misses goals in Real Madrid :)

His father and his mother don't even speak German much. How is he German? I dont understand it. He admits he has Turkish blood and refuse to sing any other national anthem. He plays for Germany for his career. Same as Nuri Sahin, but on top of that, he plays for Turkey.
:sergio: And then people wonder why there's racism.
