Has it become a trend to critise Appiah here, have any of you actually seen him play more than one match? or is it just ok to say he is crap because everyone else do.
If you think Appiah is good, then I'm guessing you are the one who hasn't seen him play more than one match.

The only thing is, I'm trying to remember which match you must have seen to come to the conclusion he was any good, as far as I remember there haven't been any!

I have seen him live at Delle Alpi against Milan, i have seen him on training, and i have seen him many times live on tv. (probably more than you).
And i know he makes mistakes, but that aint the point, it is easy to se his talent he just needs some time to adapt in Juve. Remember it is his first season.

i saw him also live at the delle alpi against milan and for me he was maybe the worst player on the field

not just me tought like that, the whole fanbloc (where i was sitting) was angry about his poor performance.

many many passes to the nirvana !

...but appiah is still young and i hope he will improve himself. he is a fighter and could be a real replacement for davids, but of course we have to wait some years !!

APPIAH HAS TO STAY

the only thing he need is a little bit more experience

Cool were did you sit???

And yes he had some bad mistakes in that match, the one in front of me hated him :), i think Tacchi was pretty bad too. But Appiah can be good, just give him some time.

Well if you say it then it must be true! Remind me to never disagree with you over Appiah again - you are obviously all knowing.

Maybe it was when you saw him train that he was good - was he playing against the under 11s team?

First of all maybe you should learn a little bit about Juve's training methods before you say stupid things like that.

And if i have seen him in action more than you, doesnt mean you have to take that rude aggressive tone to me!! what is your problem with it.

I do know about Juve's training methods - I've seen them train many times. It doesn't mean I can recognise player's potential anymore than the next person.

So when someone disagrees with you, their opinon is just as valid as yours - despite the fact you've been to see them.

My argument is, maybe Appiah does have potential, but I can't see anything that suggests he will be great. It seems your definition of potential is someone who cannot pass, tackle or create.

In that case, Blanchard and Dimas were 2 of the greatest Juve signings ever!

I just answered to what you said up here. But it turns out you have seen him/them just as much as me, so its equal then. And i respect your opinion about Appiah, even though i dont agree.

No way man. Blasi and Kapo are the future central midfielders. Maybe Brighi if he ever finds form.
8000 posts.....kapo plays left midfield, just brighi is on the position of appiah and i DONT think Blasi is better then Appiah....so

From what ive heard he could pass, tackle, and create quite good at Brescia, and he probably will for Juve too eventually ;)

Well thank God for that!

Wonder how many more seasons of crap we have to put up with before Appiah finally decides to pass, tackle and create for Juve.

Personally I can't wait and am prepared to put up with no silverware and being beaten by all the big teams just because Appiah might be good one day....I'm sure all the other fans, the manager, Moggi and the President will feel the same way!

I suppose I should feel the same way about Tacchinardi too?

Like its only Appiahs fault for this dissapointing season. And yes you should feel the same way about Tacchinardi, but i am sure everything will be much better next season. A team cant win all the time. At some point the squad has to be rebuild with some new young players like Legro and Appiah this year. It has happend before with Del Piero, Trez, Zambrotta, and now lately Maresca. Just be patient, juve make stars!

we could (and probably would) go on all day about this, I agree it's not all Appiah's fault but he has been very poor and I haven't seen anything from him which suggests he'll be better in future.

On the other hand, I can see potential in Legro and think he will be good - I'm sure others think I'm crazy for thinking that but it just comes down to personal opinion.

They've both been unlucky in that they've played in a declining Juve and their 'inexperience' has therefore been highlighted so much more, I just am very uneasy about Appiah.

I would just like to add, it is true it's not all been Appiah's fault, you could say it was Lippi's as well for playing him!

Yes i agree with some of your points.
The ideal thing would been to not let Davids go away, and have Appiah as a backup for him as a start. And i too think Legrotagglie can be very good.

We agree on something - Hurray!

Sorry if you thought I was harsh - Juve has been getting me pretty frustrated lately.

I think I'll go and calm down in a relaxation tank - maybe listen to some classical music as well - with some pan pipe music thrown in for good measure.

youre the type of juve fan i hate.

what were you thinking about nedveds first season?

what were you thinking about thurams first season?

what were you thinking about buffons first season?

if you cant see he has enormous talent and will come good then you are blind.
