I remember that he was a real hot prospect a couple of years ago but then we dumped all that cash on Buffon who was very young so it didn't look like there would be a place for Carini anytime soon (still doesn't for that matter)

we discussed this once. i think he was sold for $5
really?! Why did the rumours told that we we're trying to include Carini in a Vieri swap-deal just weeks ago?!

He plays for Standard de Liège and sucks bigtime. I don't think I've seen him do 3 good saves. Very good penalty-stopper though.

Carini plays for Standard de Liège in Belgium and is doing a great job. IIRC he's still partly owned by Juve.

I remembered when Uruguay played France in the WC2002, he did well to hold the French....this kid got talent, he only need a good coach to motivate him

Carini played for Standard since 2 or 3 years and I think he's still partly owned by Juve.

He's leaving this summer, because Runje is coming back to Liège (after 3 seasons in Marseille).

I do remember him taking a penalty because practically every Standard player had already missed one. Now, he did score, but a week later he missed the second penalty :D
