Bit early for the Conte comparison, lets give the kid a bit of space to flourish 1st. If he can win five championships, a Champions’ League and UEFA Cup, then lets talk! :D Last I heard of Conte he left Arezzo when they were relegated to C1, then has since been linked with a job with Briatore at QPR in England.

I don't think he is an overrated player. I think he just needs more guidance from Ranieri. He seems to not have any real direction and plus he is really skilled with the ball and Ranieri needs to make him practice passing. He is young. Players need coaches to help them develop into better players. I have seen what Nocerino can do in the Azzurrini so I am sure he has it in him to play better.

The only positive thing about him when he has the ball is he gets his arse over it. His passing is very poor at the level he is playing. He has time but he needs serious coaching in passing area which isnt easy. Azzurrini football and club football is different quality is lower and physically they are weaker. He is built like a Ox thats why he plays well at that level but in top footballing leagues this is not the case. If you loose possesion and have no idea when your out on the field you get found out. He runs around like a chicken with no head at times which is disturbing.

Nocerino’s Neapolitan passion

Juventus midfielder Antonio Nocerino's heart is still set on a move to hometown club Napoli as he reveals why a summer deal fell through.

Juve bought full rights to Nocerino after the 22-year-old enjoyed a highly successful season with Serie B side Piacenza last term.

While boss Claudio Ranieri seemed determined to keep the Azzurrini star in Turin, Antonio had been heavily linked with Napoli – a club that hold a special place in his affections.

“I’d join Napoli even if I had to walk there,” the ex-Messina man admitted on Tele A. “It’s where I’m from and I support the Azzurri.

“The Vesuviani have a great squad and they never give up so they can do even better.

“They are growing as a side and I’m hoping that they will have a great season.

“So much was said about my refusing a transfer, but it wasn’t like that,” Nocerino explained.

“There was a call from Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis and I said I was free to move, but as you know I was at Juventus and it wasn’t all up to me.”
