some info on him

excellent description of him, i love the writer

"Nocerino industry
There are many myths about how the ancient Olympic Games were created, the most popular being that Heracles built the Olympic stadium in honour of his father Zeus. Heracles, renowned for his ingenuity, strength and courage, would have been pleased with both teams' early endeavour, typified by the performance of Antonio Nocerino shielding the Italy back line. A powerful, imposing figure, the Piacenza FC midfielder bears little physical resemblance to the most famous exponent of his role, Claude Makelele, but the speed with which his shirt became drenched in sweat bore testament to great industry."

"In Brazil they call the Makelele position the volante (rudder), but while Nocerino was steering the Azzurrini, providing midfield impetus"

good news people good news.. I just saw a report and an interview with Nocerino:
The report was telling that on 11th of july Nocerino was on the high way between milan and florence, on his way to fiorentina. he was not called for the training start of juve. but suddenly his mobile phone rang and his agents told him that he should go back because juve blocked his move and want to keep him. in fact the report said that blanc blocked the move. Then the interveiw started with Antonio. he said: it was easy to come back to juve and to play with champions. He said that juve has the same winning mentality he has :D and then he was told that Buffon has been impressed with his performences.. He said: I am really happy for that. I did not even thought that Buffon knows my name :)

forza Nocerino.. I hope soon everybody will know your name as a juventino champion..

just shows how close the deal was to going through.

Hopefully he will repay the clubs faith in him with his performances on the pitch.
