Juventus have almost ended the trade for Floro Flores. They have still to sign the deal, but Udinese player will join Juventus on loan with right of ransom. :sergio:

Can we name some names of better players available for the same price?
Don't buy anyone is a solid option. Last year when we had the striker crisis (around the same time as this year) we brought Paolucci, he started one match and came as a sub on another and was of no use at all, except that Moggi and some other made fun of the transfer and hurt our image a lot.
Amauri and Del Piero are available, Iaquinta will be back in a week or so and Toni will be available too after 3-4 rounds. I doubt that FF will give us much more, or anything more than the primavera strikers so I see no use of paying 1-2 million and humiliate ourselves this way.

Names please.

Andy, do Ching and Donovan have EU passports?
I told you, nobody. If there is no money then don't sign anybody. Play 4-3-3 and get someone up from the Primavera to act as a reserve for DP and Amauri until Toni and Iaquinta comes back.

I tend to agree, because we could end up in the last few months of the season stacked with 3-4 average strikers who we are paying wages for.

If we truly are not signing anyone to replace Quagliarella then we should put what little money we have into a better 'buy to loan', which would basically be a loan.

I don't know much of this guy.. Haven't seen him play a lot.. I see from these pages that he's not good enough to get a number at Juve. Why can't we get back our youngsters who are out on loan? Immobile, Daud or someone who can be a sub forward..

Donovan is a very better option as a striker, he got pace and determination.
Quality as well

But does anyone notice the guy in Italy????
Donovan better than Floro Flores?! Yeah right, that's why he has failed miserably in Europe. I agree that the flowerguy wouldn't have been Juve material in the past, but right now, he as an okay solution to the problem and also better than Paolucci last year.
