Do you know what? I really don't give a rat's ass if he succeeds with Chelsea or not. I actually don't care at all about what he can do or what he has done. He did great with us and that's it for me, the story ended when he left. What I find silly though is your gloating, even sillier is that you are coming with excuses now that you cannot gloat.
this thread is an ongoing back and forth between those who thinks he sucks and those who think he is a great coach. Naturally when he wins you will hear more noise from those who think he is great and vice versa. There are valid excuses/explanations and invalid ones.

Pointing out the weakness of his defenders is a valid excuse for why his defense has been leaky since the clean sheet run from last year ended.

No one, or very few think he sucks. People dislike him for other reasons

Yep, so much worse than Romas defense for example :baus:
I'd definitely take Manolas, and even Juan Jesus over Luiz and Cahill. Kolarov and Florenzi arent bad full backs at all either.

sorry a great deal of people think he sucks in the CL

He signed Luiz and Rudiger. Cahill is also a good enough defender.
Luiz was a panic buy. Cahil is far from a good defender to start in a top team. He wouldnt start for Napoli, Roma or even Milan. The only reason he starts is because he is english.

This really summarizes it

They played with Fazio-Juan Jesus yesterday, Chelsea had a guy who started for them in their lineup. As for fullbacks/wingbacks, I don't think Azpilicueta-Alonso is any worse than Florenzi-Kolarov. Anyway, how come their superior attack didn't do more than Romas?

As for him being great in CL or not, it was always a too small sample size to make conclusions, but he wasn't exactly tearing the competition apart either, far from it actually

They are in a bad patch and Roma are in a good one there is no denying that. Roma was superior through and through.

He wasnt tearing the competition apart thats true I didnt claim otherwise. Big difference between saying not tearing it apart and flop. ( i know you are not of that camp)

@Hist

My issue is that some members on this site rate him more than Allegri; "bring him back," or "this is Conte's team [Juventus in 2017]," or the classic; "You wouldn't see this under Conte, he knows how to build defences." A side from frustrating fan boys, Conte is a good manager, but he thinks he's better then what he is; believes Juventus weren't good enough to compete for the CL and takes none of the blame for underachieving in Europe.

he misjudged our potential for sure but I also understand why he wanted to go. But then he went on to coach a much weaker squad than the one he left behind at Juve & they didnt give him any money to spend :lol:

But the question is, in all honesty, do you still think he's better than Alegri and if so why?
