Huh? Benfica didn't need a plan B because incase you didn't notice they were a goal up from the first leg where their plan A worked.

Its common sense really. How can you be tactically flexible as a coach if you dont have the right players.

The answer is that Conte has the right players, but he is not willing to change the formation because of his stubbornness

Any switch on formation as it is now, would mean that we're taking out higher quality players and putting in lower quality players to replace them. You never go full retard.

I highly doubt Conte will seriously want those players, he even said it himself that Italian clubs can't compete in the mercato.

Antonio Conte’s list of desired reinforcements this summer reportedly includes the likes of Angel di Maria, Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani.

The 44-year-old is seen seeking guarantees from the Bianconeri over summer transfer work, in order to commit to the three-time League winners beyond the summer.

On from indications that such guarantees have been met in a rumoured preliminary meeting, comes Tuttosport’s assessment of the names Conte has ruled in and out of potentially targeting in the market.

The Turin-based publication suggest that the Lecce native has ruled out any move for Luis Nani and Patrice Evra, apparently deeming the Manchester United duo unsuitable for the club’s project and also too old.

It is alleged that the Coach instead harbours dreams of brining in Aleksandar Kolarov from Manchester City and Angel di Maria from Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, attacking options that Conte has reputedly pushed forward include high-priced Uruguayan duo Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani, as well as Bayern Munich’s Mario Mandzukic.

Of the trio, Mandzukic is seen as the most likely candidate for negotiations, in terms of price and availability this summer.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport also report that the Bianconeri have already started early work with Real Madrid over a proposed move for Alvaro Morata and that they do have a preliminary agreement in place with Alexis Sanchez to sign him, if they can agree the same with his club Barcelona.
So this has to be complete bullshit. The source is Football Italia

So Conte thinks Nani is too old but wants Kolarov who is older. SO much bs.

Di Marzio - There was no meeting yesterday between Conte and the board, instead Agnelli and co visited Conte at Vinovo. Agnelli, Marotta, and Nedved are waiting for Conte who is training the team.
