Fucking Conte himself is recognizing this.

It's not about quality. It's about repetition and predictability. This team needs different playing options. We lost fair and square to fucking Benfica, ffs. We obviously need a change. And not necessarily spending loads of money.
We were the better team in both legs, we created plenty of chances to easely pass it, but we were not taking our chances and Benfica gave us some good italian style clinical display, making 3 goals from nearly no chances.

Beeing wastefull with chances, has nothing to do with the formation. If we wouldnt create chances, that would. Juventus has never had issues creating with the 352, even if its boring to those who prefer flair and fancy.

Truth is, that we really must be more clinical in these european games. And for this reason, unless we can get sanchez or cuadrado+nani+pereyra, we shouldnt sell immobile, cause he's a nice clinical stand in for llorente, that could challenge for his place.

I loved all of those signings and was also stoked about them. I'm just saying we usually start off our mercato being linked with the big money names(25+) and then dont get any of them.
If you believe in the bullcrap that the media creates to sell papers, then thats not Marotta's fault tbh

I seriously hate it when people go like this, after we are 1 game away from breaking the all time point record in serie a.

There is so much talent in this team, it can perfectly handle itself in europe like this. And if we want to go wingers, there are realistic options aswel.

I hate it when people go like. Oh well, lets change half the team and spend a fortune. Fuck no. Develop the team slowly.
:agree: he doesn't even tried to change the formation, especially in the 2nd game against Befinca he clearly doesn't knew what to do to break their defence, panic substitutions in the 2nd half were late and hopeless

He knew what he did, very well. But it didnt work.

Juventus was creating chances. Really good chances, but we were beeing wastefull. So conte introduced new strikers hoping they would finish off the given chances. Introduce marchisio, who could have had 3 assists(1offside) within his short time on the field.

Beeing wastefull and not clinical, is player related, not formation related.

LOL we looked 10 time worse after subs then before - giovinco was playing out of position, our both wingbacks were exhausted as fuck, were not able to do proper runs behind Benfica's defence, you clearly watched some other game

Not really. We looked 10times worse in the second half, that was before the subs.

The forward subs changed little, but marchisio created more, then our entire team in the rest of the second half

Really, Conte's subs has ruined the game for us, we were not able to push through the flanks anymore
What is this bullshit. We were bad the entire second half. changing not scoring forwards with not scoring forwards didnt change anything.

However, replacing the tired Vidal, with Marchisio who did create chances, was an improvement

He wasn't tired, he wasn't ready to play at all because of meniscus, Marchisio created 1 chance only, what an achievement, but the fact that our fullbacks were dead means nothing for ya, the fact that Giovinco touched the ball 2-3 times means nothing to you, instead of changing Osvaldo on Llorente, Conte should have used them both for the late minutes, he should have changed Isla on Lichtsteiner, Osvaldo on Bonucci and Marchisio on Vidal, instead of it he created new formation 4312 and we were absolutely not ready to use it

Marchisio created 3 chances, one of them beeing offside.

I allready said the forward subs didnt do much. But neighter were the original players.

Lichtsteiner missed a massive chance at the end.

This game confirmed what I've been saying for a very long time. Our wing-backs are asked to do a job that only legitimate wingers can do with any consistency, along with a vast quantity of defensive work

Nah, Marchisio created 1000 chances, okay.
Of course, Stephan was exhausted as fuck, he lost concetration for a second and the moment was gone
They didn't do too much because we didn't had the plan B, it's obvious, instead of going all in we've gone off from the tournament

Zacheryah who are you kidding? They simply were the better team. We struggled to create chances. Benfica was better.

It was well matched but they deserved it.

Now look at the players. We have Pirlo, Barzagli, Licht, Vidal, Asamoah, Pogba, Tevez, Llorente. It should be a hell of a team. And in the end we didn't prevail.

Of course stg is wrong.

Well, we can rely on them to do the same job as our starting XI, to a lesser extent of course.

But no matter how good a bench is, it needs variety if you're wanting to have a plan B from the bench

I.E we have no Wingers, or attacking mids. So it's very difficult to have a 'plan B' when there's nobody who can carry it out.

Realistically, all we could do is sub Giovinco on for a defender, and play him as a TQ. Apart from that, all we can do is throw on a mediocre striker or two and hope for the best.
