I dont demand a CL, it would be a dream come true if i got to see Juve lift the CL. How ever i would like to see us put up a fight and actually take the games to our opponents.
Playing this defensive game with no counter attack is just cringe worthy to watch, then when we play the possession game it takes us 5 minutes to open the defence up by pinging it around the whole pitch to finally see a chance bottled with a terrible shot or a hollywood pass.
The team has no organisation in attack and we seen that against Benfica with all those shots from outside the box. I have lost count how many times i have said this but after the Bayern it was so clear 3-5-2 was not the way forward and we had to change it in the Summer.
The management did not do that and signed Ogbonna, Tevez and Llorente to strenghten the 3-5-2 but then we regressed badly in Europe and were found out on more than one occasion. The only time we looked good was when we played Madrid in both games with a 4-3-3 yet Conte went back to the 3-5-2 and we went on to get knocked out of Europe using our tried and trusted 3-5-2 formation.
We also do not press the opposition high up in their own half any more, that puts pressure on them and can force them into a mistake in a very dangerous area of the pitch in their own half yet we are happy to drop 11 players behind the ball in our own half giving them free possession to hurt us while tiring our team out.
It's not just the 3-5-2 Conte also employs weak tactics imo and needs to step up in Europe and grab the bull by the horns rather than run away from it.

I think Conte wants to remain but he also want us to be more competitive in europe so he is saying he is unsure about future to make our board try to please him and get him the funds and players he wants
