I have to say though, I think Conte is doing all the right things and we're about to take home a 3rd straight Scudetto so I'm not going to ask for big changes or anything but I'm honestly getting a bit bored when watching Juve these days. Just find myself dozing off or doing something else with the game being in the background. Not asking for Barca tika taka or anything before some wiseass says something.

I'm going to side with @Zacheryah here, our team has been worn out recently it's quite clear from the players performances. An away win in Europe is never a bad result dont forget that. Bayern couldn't beat 7th place Man United so we got a decent result tonight. Lets move on and hope we finish them off in Torino so we can take one step closer to the final.

You didn't watch the game - we were much more energetic as a team in the last 20 mins when Gio and Vucinic were on.

If we were worn out, then the players that were on from the first minute would've been dead by the 70th, but they weren't.

What a load of bullocs

Lyon started the game fireing from all cilinders. They ran all over the place and tried to manmark everywere. Obviously with our current fitness levels, we cant keep up with such pace, so we stay in formation, and try to keep the space tight. Apart from Briand's big chance, that worked perfectly.

Second half, inevitably, Lyon cannot offcourse keep such pace and such demanding marking. Juventus improved in off the ball movement and positionning, and lyon tireing down, brought us back into the game.
At that point, Conte brings Vucinic and the pacy giovinco. Two fresh players who barely played the past weeks.

The combination of lyon slowing down, and juventus bringing fresh players, is what made us look so energetic in the end.

But you've been arguing we're tired etc. for the last decade, now you're saying we had energy?

Keep to the same story line buddy.

The way I see it. Some players play more than others and will naturally be tired as a season progresses. Some players don't play so much. Substitutes is a popular name for these players. If I remember the theory, it goes something like this. When you put a player on the field who hasn't played much, he is usually less tired that everyone else. This is usually a benefit to the team that makes the substitution. Usually because the other team is tired as well, possibly because they've over-everted themselves over the course of the match. I think they call it the "theory of fresh legs". I could be wrong, I didn't pay much attention in that class in school.

So what gives you the right, to come into a thread, accuse me of being offensive, when it was a simple response to the likes of Zach.

Furthermore, you're post paves the way for more insults in the thread, insults that you of course ignore. Half of B_Aus's posts on this forum are insults, but of course you never censure him, because you likely agree with some of his views or something similar.

Tell me what gives you the right to behave that way as a mod?

If you are bold enough to come and accuse me of throwing around "insults", then be brave enough to call everyone out on it when they do it, whether you like them or not. Consistency in your approach would be applauded.
