So just because Capello failed previously with this team in Europe,we shouldnt consider his thoughts ? Which,in my opinion is legitimate reasoning.

But idk everyone including Conte himself looks at this as an attack by a former Juventus coach on the current Juventus coach.

I'm not saying thats the main reason. Its a collective failure but like i said there's a hint of truth in it too.

Full credit to Conte ofcourse for doing the job he has done so far,not taking away the credit from him.

BUT...

We should also be fortunate that Milan(the only team capable of challenging after we won the 11-12 Scudetto) sold their best players, and with the rest of the teams pretty much being in a transitional phase. There are pretty good teams in the league but none really capable of standing toe to toe with this Juventus team squad wise nor are they of a great European level.Last year we dint have a serious enough challenge so we strolled, this year its much better but its again more or less the same story.

And i also get what Capello is saying. He isnt exactly attacking the quality of the league per se,but he means to say Juventus strolling past weak teams in the league is making them arrogant in Europe and hence suffering as a result. This is how I interpret it.
I dont agree.Milan team ,when we won 11-12 season was much, much stronger than ours. And beside that we had new coach ,new players, completely new team.So Milan was favourite to win that season not Juve.We were happy to be competitive that season ,we never dreamed of scudetto to some point of a season. So that title does not have anything with selling of the best Milan players that season. And one thing is certain.CApello(the mercenary) than ours team was much stronger(especially the first season 11-12 season). What game he provided .70 percent of our games ended 1-0.And we should go far that years in CL because we have funds and Moggi was accepting any Capello player transfers.Emerson,Zebina,Ibrahimovic,Cannavaro,Mutu. etc .So Capello is the last person who can criticize Conte.

Yes its ridiculous from a simple reason ,Capello is at least 20 years older than Conte and has a mercenary habit. So please give Conte that time (and money that were given to Capello) and we will see the results.

Respect to Conte, but he's still far behind Capello. It's ridiculous to compare those two just yet.

Former Juventus general director Luciano Moggi says Old Lady Coach Antonio Conte should show more respect to Fabio Capello.

Conte has recently hit back at Capello and his time in charge at the Turin club, saying that his tenure will only be remembered for the two titles the team won and then had revoked.

“Conte needs to show more respect for the club,” Moggi told Sports Mediaset. “He ahould be asking permission from the club before making those kinds of comments.

“With me in charge this would never have happened.

“Juve under Capello had some important results. This whole issue seems absurd to me.

“Capello said that Serie A nowadays is not competitive enough and that Juventus have added Tevez and Llorente in the summer while other clubs sold their best players.

“To me he is paying Conte a compliment, not a criticism.

“Conte needs to stop making these kinds of quotes. He should show more respect to the club.

“He works in a stadium where it says that Juve have won 31 Scudettos. Now he should say, 'I don’t work here.’”

Fully agreed with Moggi here.

I understand you very clearly .Milan sold their best players AFTER 12-13 season. What I was saying that Conte came to a club which was on 7-th place.New players, new coach etc.He won title that year.THAT DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING IN COMMON with Milan selling their stars AFTER 11-12 season.......

Those quote reported are wrong, cause Conte said that those 2 scudetti were unfairly revoked (I listened to it live) and to Mediaset said that to revoke them was a bull$#@!. And I'm astonished that someone can think that Conte could have actually said something who can criticizes Juve's history, being probably the first fan before being the coach. And the sentences you said are even more wrong, but that's not really interesting.
Well, if that's the case then that changes what I was going to say.

It had to be a mis-interpretation all the way around, because Moggi slammed Conte about that comment in an interview today.

All I will say is Capello's team was very dominant in Serie A (albeit boring), but he was totally out-coached in the CL, so he is no better than Conte

Fully agreed with Moggi here.
Wow is it the same Moggi which said that first year after Conte arrived and our 7-th place befere that we will fight(thats are his words) for third place and we win scudetto Let me be clear Moggi was and will be the BEST TRANSFER MANAGER in history of football but now at Football Italia site he is simply defending Capello because he brings him. What results other than Serie A JUve achieved?????

Yes because it was in his era. What disrespect Conte show?He was attacked by the last person who can attack him because he is a mercenary and is playing the most boring football in the world. What more titles he won with Juve then Conte with superior team to Europe not Serie A.Two titles and Conte got 2 also.So who is he to criticize Conte.I sometimes dont agree with Conte picks of players and tactics but this Juve plays way better football than that of mercenary Capello.

Capello is not criticizing Conte :lol2: :sergio: Its being rubbed in the wrong way.
He did, he criticised his methods in punishing the players for the Verona result. Before that were the comments about the league being easy and harming the team in Europe.

Capello has been saying various things as a observer in the last 3 months, some very positive of Conte, some backward compliments, Conte obviously took this one as a negative.

chapello stated the obvious when he said the a weak serie A were harming Juve's chances in europe

look at it this way, if milan did not sell zlatan and tiago and instead added more quality (like we have been doing for the past 2 seasons) then we would have been forced to make a few trule world class signings (suarez, aguero level) and these kind of players would have surely given us the extra edge in CL

chapello is also right when he says serie a is too easy for us

let's just admit it, conte was pissed with the giovinco incident, he aint perfect and he took chapello's comments personelly and to his heart, basically got butt hurt and made a mistake with those comments

let's just get over it

fuck chapello, forza conte

Capello though, was an absolute failure in the CL for us. Those humiliating back to back CL exits (considering the squad he had at his disposal) were and still are unforgivable. Such a stubborn and inflexible coach. I used to fall asleep watching our games back then. Capello, as much as he was a success in Serie A, and a far better coach for other teams, pissed me off with his boring and uninspiring style of play.

Far from it. I choose to shave my head sometimes, but that is an entirely different matter altogether :D
