Conte: 'Best Juve of the season'

Antonio Conte feared the trip to Fiorentina would be “cursed again,” but celebrated an historic Juventus victory and even enjoyed the wig jokes.
The 5-0 demolition job at the Stadio Franchi was aided by Alessio Cerci’s foolish red card just 21 minutes into the match.
“It felt like this game was going to be cursed as well when Mirko Vucinic hit the post early on, but then things got on a better level. We made it easier for ourselves too,” said Conte.
“We knew that Fiorentina would come out here and play the game of their lives. We did well and perhaps it was the best Juventus performance of the season.
“I will say it wasn’t easy to come here and get back to winning ways after a strange period full of draws. The lads were professional and showed belief in their abilities. We wanted to win and we did.”
The victory keeps Juve within four points of leaders Milan, who won 2-0 away to Parma earlier this evening.
“I told my players to focus only on ourselves and not on the other results, as it was too important for us to win. We’re proud to be fighting for the Scudetto with 10 rounds to go and will try to keep on battling to the very end. The important thing is to end the season without regrets.”
This was the heaviest Juve victory in Florence of all time, as the previous biggest result was 4-1 in 1995.
Fiorentina supporters mocked Conte before kick-off by wearing colourful wigs in the crowd, something that amused the Coach.
“These are fun ideas and must be accented calmly. I even picked up a purple wig and will take it home for use when my hair isn’t here anymore. I compliment the Viola fans for the idea.”

I know a lot wanted to see DP on the pitch with this score. But I'm a bit happy he didn't brought him in, that shows he has balls and he is not willing to field players only so they could play, he is sticking with his system and demands players that fit it, not just puts in names on .

If we keep it up like we played today, I really don't care if DP is brought on even for a second. Fuck it, i'm a bit high/drunk and really happy about the win. Call me a hater or whatever, but with such results and Conte's balls, with subs made in 60th minute I can't say anything else but FORZA CONTE!
Because with such score everyone expected him to bring him on(me included, I told my friends it will be DP time from 70th minute), but instead he showed that he knows exactly what he wants from players and is willing to bring in those that fit's best with our gameplan even with such score. To me it shows, Conte doesn't cut corners, he is very specific in what he wants from players and his team, it's something to celebrate that we have such a coach with these charecteristics.
