You and Hustini both post images and gifs when you have nothing to answer.
I think it's only fair that he responded to your pointless 'domination technique' with one of his own.

"Delneri is that you?" was an unfair comment, because cheese was right. You can't expect to win every game.

You can go out on the field and try to win every game. That you can. And we did!

But like I said, football matches are dynamic and game plans do change as the game progresses. We became happy with the draw as the second half progressed.

Yes because your answer was really enlightning. Thank you

:delpiero:

You expect us to win every game we play in Serie A
Ah yeah I do expect us to win every time we take the pitch. That's what a winning mentality is and your comment was highlighted for irony seeing as it paraphrased an infamous quote from Delneri encapsulating just what being a loser is all about.

Don't make it cheese's problem that you can't differentiate between going out to win every game and expecting to win every game.

If you expect to win every game in football, you don't have a winning mentality, nor are you smart, it just makes you an idiot.

“It must be recognised that today saw the two best championship defences come up against each other. Up until now, Udinese have always won at home, scoring 14 goals and conceding just two. This is why I say that we’ve shown resilience and solidity. Not everyone is capable of coming to Udine and creating important chances. We’re unbeaten and if when I arrived as manager, people had said that to me I would have considered them crazy.”

“Udinese, like Napoli, are a team that like to attack from wide areas and know how to exploit space. We prepared for the encounter looking to avoid being outnumbered on the flanks. Actually, we also play with three central midfielders when we go 4-3-3, because Lichtsteiner is often willing to get forward and therefore changing system comes quite naturally, also thanks to players like Estigarribia.”

“You must prepare very well for these kind of games, if not you can face several difficulties. We studied Udinese attentively and they did their homework on us. In modern football there’s the need to be well prepared and this is another reason why we’re unbeaten.”

I really don't see how Pepe would have done a better job than Quag or Del Piero in that role especially considering he's not even a striker. We definitely could have had all three points without compromising the game plan by fielding at least one technical forward. We had a few half chances all game that hindsight talk is the talk of a loser. If you want to be number one in the league you play to win against whoever, wherever.
No.

Pepe's massive defensive work reined in the mighty Udinese.

Without him we would have been battered no doubt.

Stop being such a dick dude, how the hell did I get into this convo?

I always have an answer and support it. Whether you agree or not doesn't matter. And for the record on this, I agree with you. Of course we should be trying to win AS MANY games as possible. Teams that win trophies have the mentality and go out and do it.

Don't know why you had to throw me in the mix here.

Kudos for his work in 2011. Hopefully in 2012 there can be an overall improvement with more wins and less draws!
Hopefully we bring in some fresh blood to take us up a notch or two.

Certainly Boriello will not do that, but I'd like a top class striker for sure.

reading the last 10 pages

people who approve conte seemb to have a good idea of how serie a and tactics generally work

people who dissaprove conte, seemb to think this is the la "i beat you "8-0" liga"

serie a was allways known for its low win rate

whats extra good ?

a coach able to draw and win, and not lose, is VERY good in cup games

Yeah unfortunately it's not likely to happen. Venereal scum Borriello is the most likely option apparently :(

Just one Vucinic type attacker would make a world of difference!

In all honesty, we would be light years ahead of where we are now if he would start with Mirko-Matri-Quag or DP-Matri-Quag.

Why Esti or Pepe? :sergio:

We really could do quite well in the league if Conte would just use those 3 to start. Make CL then sign a bad ass.
