you don't know that quag is better on the middle. that's not the point anyway. the point is mirko is a player that can reciive the ball hold it, dribble and bring others into play. that's why he is so vital. del piero and quag are both also capabale of this. has nothing to do with playing in the middile or wide. we needed a that upfront and conte not only messed it up from the start, he failed to akcn owldege his mistake and fix it sooner.

del piero being old has nothign to do with it. the fact is he can actually dribble, hold the ball until his team mates get into position and play others on. this has nothing to do with age, but skill. and skill is what we lacked.

see thew thing is i would have totally understood if this was the first time we played with one striker.IF this was the case i would place no real blame.. but we had another match this season where we did this (chievo i think?) and it was a horrilbe match. that's why really irritates me.

yeah it's not his fault that midifeld trio had a bad game. that happens. but it is his fault that he did not adjust his tactics to accomodate mirko's absence competently.

The team couldn't break into the box due to the way Roma threw 8 defenders and worked the counter ( plus lack of a creative mind ). For me, the result is an equal point since we were lucky to not have conceded more. We need to get back on track though or we will be Liverpool circa 2008. I don't care for the undefeated status if we end anywhere else but first.

Giacchi and Ale have not played that many minutes, and we don't have Europe either so I don't buy that to be honest.

another game where we weren't decisive enough fin the first half.

we really need to start killing games from the first half. we can't always rely on the team to make a comeback in the 2nd half. there will be teams that will bury us from the first half and we won't be able to make a comeback.

this will be very improtant for us in the CL next year.
