Agreed there Dom. I really thought he would make a few subs at HT but he stuck to his guns and put his faith in the group he chose. The players on the field that day would really feel the manager's faith and its a great feeling imo.
He is also developing his tactical work ( the napoli game could not have been tactically imo) but you can he is realizing that every opponent is different, so he puts out a team that could beat it. And thats another point, he always tries to beat his opponents when in the past few years our managers were less outgoing.
The antics will settle down. The Alex situation is tough. He wants the man to step on these great grounds and play these big matches but most times he wouldn't be able to give much of a contribution especially with our system. Against Napoli it was a bad sub anyway, could've at least given him more minutes. And like you said there is no middle ground and its a tough situation.
