funny thing is the games up till the bologna farse de ceglie was piss poor, and all of a sudden chiellini was deemed as a left back again by many here, so im by no means putting words into anyone's mouths, this is the shit that is comming out of their own

Conte is in a tough situation really, he either plays with a 4-5-1 formation where the defence is more protected and pirlo is relaxed more in that formation but we'd find it hard to create clear chances.

Or use the 4-4-2 formation and create more yet our shit defence will conceed much more goals that way!!

Hope Conte can do something about it, though its tough.....

It's the definite weak spot in the side. No matter who we throw in there is gonna be pretty poor.

But I too would rather that player to be an actual left back than some clueless CB who's not even a left back.

I fancy the 4-3-3, but I reckon that the Conte-version of a 4-3-3 would be a bit too stretched. In practice, I think it would turn into a 4-5-1. His philosophy is based on the usage of wide-men.

So, yeah, normally, I would love the 4-3-3, but perhaps not under Conte..
