the very LEAST a proper Coach - which apparently he is supposed to be - can organise a defence or have a proper formation.

our defence is still shit, our best defender for the past 3 seasons is playing like a bat with Alzheimer's,and he keeps changing formation every day.

Genoa did nothing apart from the goal. since Paz came on they were throwing long balls instead of passing game like they were doing, he should have replaced Pepe with Quagliarella because Matri was the lone striker and he's really far from being lone striker. but i can't blame Conte more than Chiellini mistakes specially the second goal, his timing is horrible when hes chasing a cross and dont know if he should clear the ball before it come on the opponent or to jump with him

Well we disagree from the outlet, because I've never rated Chiellini. He might have been our best defender for the past 3 seasons, but that's not saying much. He has always been a clumsy, tactically poor defender. I know that he has been marketed as this "bandiera"-guy for years and that he plays for the national side, but it doesn't change the fact that he's average at best. To me, players like Chiellini, Bonucci, Ranocchia, Bonera etc. is a symbol of the worst generation of italian defenders ever.

The point? How much can one really expect from Conte when this is what he has to work with?

We know damn well that he tried to ship Bonucci out to Russia during the summer. And we're now witnessing that he's growing tired of Chiellini as a CB. So he's trying him out at leftback instead. But Chiellini is letting him down.

whether you rate him or not, Giorgone was always a rock at the back - now he sucks everywhere...why? and that too consistently poor, not one-off performances.

he was the one who got rid of Ziegler and fucked our squad depth, so once again he is culpable.

what can we expect? I can expect - as I do from all Coaches - to be able to organise the team at the back.

DN, Ranieri, Ferrara, Conte - whoever they may be, if they fail to do that then they deserved to be criticised.
