I like it that he makes krasic feel he's not a must in the squad...thats what a player needs to give his optimum when he gets in
This.

This is the impression I get, too, that Conte doesn't give a flying f*** about who you are, where you're from, how big of a star you are etc. He wants the best from his players and demands it, no matter what. If they're not ready to play, they get benched. No free passes.

I hope this impression is the truth, because then we have the sort of coach who wins trophies.

If Matri hadn't of got injured and Krasic would of came on for Giaccherini tearing shit up and creating 2 assists then everyone will be praising Conte for waiting for waiting until Siena tired then unleashing the Serb.

Get off the Counts back already.

As I was saying couple months before Conte has Juve DNA, and that winning mentality we lacked obviously in past seasons. So far so good. But let's see if he can transfer it to the players in more important games against tougher opponents. If he can we are back on our winning ways.

Great game Antonio. As long we you win, I don't care what you do or how you do it? I don't care which players play because that really doesn't matter. He sees these players everyday and knows everything about them, while we only see them 90 mins. Please keep winning, ugly or beautiful games in the end only results matter.
Love you Conte
The problem here is that it's been just two games. Two games against teams that are candidates for relegation. Two teams that were absolutely toothless. One of these games we were absolutely abysmal. Sure, we won, but sticking your head in the sand and being happy just because we happened to win these is pretty silly. Any sensible person can see that, if we continue this sort of course, the wheels will inevitably fall off.

People are critical because they're hoping for more meaningful long-term satisfaction (at minimum third place), rather than scrappy wins against shitty teams. Us playing woefully, like today, is a direct threat to this.

Pepe was useles in attack. He is winger for Christ sake, he needs to beat his markers, not just defend, we have fullbacks for that. Pepe had 0 out of 3 driblings succesfull, 1 out of 7 crosses, it's bad.

True, but did you honestly expect an easy game in Siena?

Conte's former employers and players?

I almost went crazy of nervousness last night, going on about it in the Siena-thread, while there were those who said we should win this game easily, 5-0 etc. Just silly.

Capello and Lippi also had to grind out results, especially at these grounds away from home against shitty teams who play so cowardly (8-9 men in defence) that it makes me wanna puke.
