I don't get the Italian legal system. Your innocence is assumed......shouldn't someone be able to "prove" your guilt? How do you prove your innocence if you can only say that you didn't know.

If it means him fighting his innocence and clearing his name in a civil court, then yes. Accepting a plea bargain is like an admission of guilt.
Yeah, but the process in civil court could take way too much time. Seeing how our playing style and transfers so far are heavily influenced by Conte, accepting the plea bargain would be the best choice (taking into consideration how corrupted justice system in Italy is) both for Conte and Juventus.

I'd much rather want him out for 4 months, when it's 95% chance of him getting one year suspension. I am not 100% sure, but I don't think it's possible to take this to the civil court? Anyways, that process would take over 1,5 year and Conte would be back till then. What good would it do?

So it's official? He took the plea bargain?
No. Just Tuttosport.

In the end, Conte does what is in Juventus' best interest.

That's why I said earlier, he's just falling in their trap but at the same time he doesn't have a real option.

Exactly. He's probably innocent, but right now, he doesn't really have any other option but to take the plea bargain, since that would be in the club's best interest too. That way he would show everyone that he's not as selfish as he was when he accepted the Juve job. /Cronios
