nothing will happen i am sure. sporting trials are bullshit and this time there is no way, like treq said juventus will be caught off guard this time.

i am sure juventus management appeal to go to a real court if they do give him a sentence. will give the bored juve lawyers something to do. let's see them try and prove the witness reliable then.

He's guilty unless proven innocent since it's a sporting trial. The only way his lawyers can get him completely cleared is if they somehow manage to prove that the witness is unreliable.

Otherwise, he gets 1 year ban or he pleas bargain and gets 3-6 months.

If he keeps saying that he knew nothing, it's a 1 year ban since the prosecutor deemed the witness reliable.
The same reliable witnesess who accused conte of fixing rather than just knowing...

Andrea Agnelli just intimated as much, saying that there will be judgement through the various judicial departments.

This is just annoying in terms of image and potential loss of concentration on the playing side (not that you'd probably notice with Bonucci anyway).

The Carobbio situation is shifty, but the timeline of the investigation is not. It started in June 2011 with the arrest of Benevento goalkeeper Marco Paoloni, who was the supposed ringleader for the fixings during his time at Cremonese.
Agree with everything , nothing wrong with the timeline , but i still can't understand how they consider carobbio reliable

yeah in a real trial the juve lawyers will tear the accusations apart since there is no evidence and only the word of one very shady guy. the part with the guy changing his statement 4 times makes it much easier too.

but i hope we do much more. juventus should threaten withdrawl of international players from azzuri if any sentencing goes through.

Next Thursday.

Can't imagine Agnelli having the guts to do that.

Plus remember that it's Palazzi's job to be severe, he is the prosecutor. He aims high with punishments, and then they more often than not are cut down considerably. Our punishment in 2006 is an example, but this is also the case for many small misdemeanours.

So lemme get this right
Masiello was ruled to be a reliable witness?
only in a sporting trial.

on a real trial he will get torn apart by lawyers because of his sentencing, changing statements and lack of real proof and other witnesses backing his statement

TBH, this could be very interesting from a legal standpoint, and could go a range of different ways if Conte is found guilty, you could go very deep and even go before the ECHR or even invoke EU law if he were also banned in the CL, but that would take several years in civil courts.

I'd offer my services to Juve for a nomintal fee :D

He's not accused of anything too major. Conte's accused (as well as Alessio and Stellini) of having knowledge of a 'fix' before or after a match and failing to report it to sporting authorities. The most extreme punishment would be a 6-month total ban, but that would be highly unlikely unless substantial evidence was displayed. Highly unlikely, and advisors in Italy are suggesting he just do a plea-bargain so as to wrap it up before the season begins, or at least earlier within the season. For the face of Juve, the coach having knowledge of a fix for a previous club he coached still doesn't look good for us, so other advisors are saying he should go through the entire proceeding to completely eradicate himself of any guilt.

Long story short

Pratically ex napoli keeper has called grava and cannavaro to fix the match samp- napoli 1-0 . Althrough they refused , they have failed to denounce it . Obviously when they were called by the naples prosecution they said it never happened .

Now in theory they should be investigated for Omitted denounce , but naples prosecution has simply archived it .
