o that one, another variation of 4-5-1 imo, (during the match, it changed a bit, esp after the subs) but instead of using 3 CMs 2 wingers/ss and a CF, we opted for one less CM and one more ss/winger.
I ve been waiting for this for so long and i hoped that we will see that, when Quaq returned and all 3 of vucinic-matri-quaq were available.

The estig-dp-giacche-borriello front was so multidimensional and widen their defense open enough to let us carve it through very easy, even without our optimal choices!
The spectacle was great too and the outcome a solid one, i believe we have the depth to field this regularly, esp vs the weakest Italian teams, who are using lots of defenders and overcrowd our offensive line.
The co operation of Quaq and Matri was also as good as i hoped, i m looking forward to see more!

It is imo an optimal use of our material, as we can rest one cm and use more of our plenty and quality offensive options, while all the while increasing spectacle and performance!
