I disagree, i believe that Conte was realy wise today:
-Quaq+DP ought to start and hopefully score to boost their morale, we are going to need them in the long run, more options = less risks = less injuries + less mistakes = more wins!
-We ought to rest Vidal and Matri, because they rely on their speed and stamina to make a difference and we are going to need that for the next match.
-We could afford to use DC and see if we have the option to put Chie back in the center, just for the very few games DC will be available.
-We are Pirlo dependant, we could not afford not to win this game and without him and the rest of the mandatory experiments, our team could have collapsed. He was subbed out when the job was done.
He could have opted for Toni instead of Giacche though.
He tried Giacche as LM, because this is what we need the most, a starter option there, so Marchisio and Vucinic wont have to play out of position.
Giacche showed more promise as SS though. Conte is desperate to add him as a starter, as he favors Italians and hard workers and Giacche is more Italian and hard worker than the rest of the available options (Krasic, EstiG, Elia)
This is the reason he keeps giving him chances and tries to create momentum, the orders from our board are clear and the pressure on Conte must be high!
And thats why he also tried to see what he can do a bit more forward and so did subbed out DP and moved EstiG to his place, so that he can take DPs place.
This is how you impose a player into the squad, we ve seen it with Molinaro, Pepe and the likes so many times...
