someone is upset.

you are so cute like this when you can't participate in intelligent discussions, melo.

but i guess that requires you to posses actual intelligence to able to in the first place.

Conte needs to learn from his mistakes fast.

we have a chance to actually go into second half of the season in first place with a comfortable lead.

there can be no mistakes. when you are in first place, there is less pressure on you and less chance of error than when you are playing catch up

I would not put it all on Conte.

yes his subs were questionable but the team became too emotional and lost its cool too early into the match.

a tactical game was reduced into a brawl, something which greatly benefited Roma.

i only blame conte for certain things. there things of course he has no control of.

not his fault:

-that our greatest asset, the midfield trio sucked
-that vidal went full retard

his fault:
- that we yet in another match are too indesisive in the first half. there will be matches where teams will bury us for this and not every team is shit like napoli to alllow epic combacks.
-that he did not start with 2 forwards
-that he as a coach obviously saw/or in case he didn't, i'm sure his assitant did that pepe and esti were too ineffective and he failed to make adequate changes soon enough.

that is all. i like the work he has done so far and unlike last year and year before where i dreaded watching us play, i look forward to every match. i just hope conte works on some aspects of his decision making becuause for however good we are doing so far, we could be doing even better.

of the faults only the last one is valid, what is he supposed to do if his preferred and indeed successful starting XI doesn't execute properly.

I agree with your points about Conte but to be fair to Conte he has repeatedly stated, with good reason, that his side is still a work in progress. With a new style of play and so many new personal it's of course going to take some time to work out a few kinks.

Later on in the season we can look back and see what kind of progress has been made.

That's why Lion said he needs to learn from his mistakes. We fielded a lone striker formation before and it failed miserably yet he did it again.

altho i tend to agree with your opinions, and agree on the positives, i cant agree with the negatives

people forget what roma is, stands for, and their history.
remember us finishing 7th last 2 seasons, but still getting points against both milan sides , while they were supposedly superior ?
remember that game under del neri were our half bunch of reserves beat milan ?

THAT is exactly what conte was guarding for, and he respected roma.

he knew they were going to be very tough, also at home in front of a big number of fans

so, he decided to field us a team with plenty of balance, and a gameplan to not concede and see what we could pull off

however, indeed our greatest asset, our midfield trio, was letting himdown, and the bullshitgoal fucked the gameplan. luckely we came back into the game.

considering our midfield was having a bad day, conte decided to not take to much offensive risk, fearing to become pressed back and conceding on another totti set piecehe was totally right on this one.

serie a is a league of the best tacticians, you cant be right all the time.

in my opinion, conte had the right reaction to go for the point, instead of risking a loss, considering the performance of our midfield.

with vucinic, this would have been a completely diffrent game, and we would have likely won it. fuck cesena

Tudor was at the team trainning today along with Nedved.
Eh, the times when Juve scouts were everywhere, following everything.

Tudor played for my local club, Juve followed him since his first professional season and bought him when he was 19-20. Not only that, but he was immediately given a chance to play in the team that had Davids, Zidane and the likes in midfield.
Now something like that is hard to imagine. The Tudors we buy from small clubs and lesser known leagues are loaned to small Italian clubs and don't posses quality to play for a big team.

I agree. I think Conte is doing a good job, I think he's making Juventus operate as a team again and motivating the hell out of them but I can't but help to think he's getting a bit lucky.

I mean, we haven't tactically dominated any match this season other than Parma and Milan. The rest of the games really came down to the actual players and the effort they gave on the field.

I like Conte, I hope he continues this success, but I feel like he's being overrated as well at times.
Eh? Not true.
