You forget who ADL is. It took him like 2-3 months for him to allow Giuntoli to leave.
True, but I don’t think ADL would’ve really stood in his way if Conte had made a firm decision to leave. He basically said that if Conte wanted to go, he could and even thanked him and wished him well during the Scudetto celebrations.

He's old and we don't have the time. This is not Atalanta. Imo he'd be a massive failure here.

He is much more likely to succeed then fucking Tudor. Who has achieved or shown nothing but get 1 year or half season temp gigs.

Gasperini has made smallish mid clubs like Genoa and Atalanta to CL teams. Atalanta a REGULAR competitive top 3 fixture in the league.

That's really fucking rare. Before saying likes of Tudor is better, you better remember to put some respecc on Gasperinis name.

He is playing diplomatic politician with Conte because he is the biggiest Italian coach name after Ancelotti.

But rest assured he is most likely being difficult with him too. Why else would Conte want to leave after scudetto lol, same with how ADL fell out with Sarri, Ancelotti, Spalletti and Giuntoli. It's a pattern.

Gasperini is a twat that falls out with his star players and he had an average of 1,33 and 1,79 points per game with Genoa and Atalanta respectively. Not much out of the ordinary if you look at the squads so that regular CL achievement is mainly because the other big teams are shitting the bed... He's the epitome of a big fish in a small pond. Pass. Next.

As far as Tudor goes, I'd give him the benefit of doubt because he already knows the team but we should be able to do better for sure.

Positive contacts again today between Napoli and Antonio Conte, there’s increased confidence that the coach will stay. New contacts are set for before Saturdays deadline, when the coach will make his decision (@DiMarzio)

Napoli are confident that they will retain Antonio Conte as their manager for next season. Another positive phone call took place between De Laurentiis and Conte today. The final answer will come soon but Napoli hope the coach will stay on. This chapter though is never closed (@FabrizioRomano)

    Bah

Pretty depressing knowing that Napoli are most likely more capable of promising him signing better players. Which is not a tough task at this point, but still...

Bar Conte I see no good solution for us unfortunately. Other coaches are either pure shit or old fashioned Italian shitass coaching. Most boring and ineffective football here we come! But don't worry, we'll probably sign shit players while at it!

My god, we’re now fighting Napoli for our own club legends. Funny times indeed.
    If this fool ditches us:
    1. Keep him away from the club forever
    2. Stick with Tudor.

Please no Gasp or other Italian wannabe Guardiola. Conte is the ideal candidate to go back to winning again. If we can’t get a better coach than Conte, we should give Tudor a chance (hopefully set him up for success) until top options are available.
