I've actually seen enough to be confident that Conte's the right man - long term.

Like someone pointed out earlier, Alex Ferguson wasn't successful with Man United in the beginning, but they stuck with him.

I sincerely hope that we can stick with Conte through good times and bad times, because he clearly has the ability to unite and motivate.

I've also noticed that he has the ability to change games for the better, tactically. This is also very positive.

As for starting lineups etc., every manager can be wrong some times, tactically. Mourinho was wrong when he was thrashed by Barcelona last season (was it 5-0?) and SAF was outclassed by Manchester City earlier this season.

No manager is perfect.

The important thing is that they are tactically spot on most of the time, and that they have those crucial abilities to motivate the players and unite the squad.

I see all of this in Conte.

We need "stability" thats for sure, Most of the succesfull clubs in the world have a stable environment within their management.

No one knows how this season will end but unless we take a serious dive in performance and end up 7th-8th again, We need to keep Conte.

Even if we end up 4th this season and not qualifying for the CL, I'd rather still keep Conte and try to qualify next season.....

This season's performance so far may guarantee him another season even if things are getting worse after this point on. Changing the coach every season won't do any team good, Juve need to hang on one coach while rebuilding the team around his ideas and I think Conte is up for it.

I think Conte is the sort of strong personality the team has needed since Farsopoli fucked us over. And I agree with what people say, even if we finish between 4th-6th we should still keep him for next season as well.

God forbid if that does happen, then we'll see.

easy to be optimistic at this stage of the season.
True. That's why I'm not gonna get carried away with the Conte proclamations just yet.

The past seasons have taught us to be careful when it comes to coaches / success in general. Conte seems to have some things previous managers lacked, like a strong personality. He doesn't insist on a certain kind of system and simply does things his way and we've ( somewhat ) consistently looked like a decent side. It doesn't feel like that hit-or-miss kind of Juve we've been tortured with over the past years. I'm more optimistic about this Juve than any other post-Calciopoli Juve so far, but still fairly calm about it all.

We'll see what we've made of in the long run, or if someone like Pirlo were to get injured, but Conte seems the right man to guide all of this right now.

Yeah the promising thing of Conte's tenure has been the convincing displays. I think we've been the (much) better side in every game so far, even if we did not always garner the points.

It's a nice idea and the best scenario, unfortunately if results took a dive there would be many calling for his head, pressure builds, it's a tough spiral. Just the way football is.

Legendary Juve coaches:

Trapattoni -> Lippi -> Conte

I BELIEVE this to be the case.

Nice to see that it was Trapattoni who launched Conte. Maybe Marchisio for the future with the right Conte guidance? I truly hope so.

*Capello is not and in the case of Conte will not be on the same level as them.

Waaaaaaaaay too early man, untill Conte actually wins "anything" with us then and only then we can compare him to those two. We haven't even reached mid-season yet !!!

Conte: Palermo match is like a final

"Tomorrow we will return to camp after 22 days, it is inevitable that we will have some concerns. We went back to work trying to re-tune on the same wavelength."

-

Mimicking Allegri I see :D. He said that the CL match v Barca is like a final. Reminds me of when Mourinho said that RM are concentrating on getting 40 pts to stay up after Guardiola said it would be normal for Barca not to win anything.
