dear conte,

there is no need to field one striker only against small teams that like to defend in numbers. especially when the wing forwards you have are krasic and pepe

sincerly,

anyone with half a fucking brain that has watched us play in the last 6 years

1- As lion pointed out, there's no need to play with a lone striker against a team like Chievo. If necessary, the lone striker should never be Mirko Vucinic.
2- Krasic should be dropped to the bench, with Pepe on the right and Estigarribia on the left for now.
3- Our defense looked good, but a left back is needed. And no, not De Ceglie.
4- Where the fuck is Quagliarella?

I don't know what Conte was going to do with the third sub before Giac got injured, but I don't think it would've made a difference with Quagliarella out of the game. Pirlo, Marchisio and to a lesser extent Vidal all looked tired after international football. Honestly, I don't know what would have happened if Conte opted for two central midfielders instead of three, two would've had to cover more space and they looked really tired.

Reality check... Let's just get that CL spot.

Conte has surely learnt his lesson from this game and will start 2 strikers from now on. Im fairly confident we can beat Genoa next week at home, was nowhere near as confident of beating Chievo today

Antonio Conte is “satisfied” with the Juventus performance and feels their attitude changed against Chievo.

“I regret the result, but cannot complain about the performance from the team, as we held the initiative from start to finish,” he told Sky Sport Italia after the 0-0 draw.

“We never ran any risks and I am satisfied with the attitude of the side. Chievo are an excellent outfit with real physicality and it’s no coincidence they have nine points in the table.

“Despite our many scoring opportunities, we were unable to find the goal, but I am satisfied. The attitude was different to when we played in Catania.

“Unfortunately, it’s difficult to find space against teams who only defend, just as Parma proved yesterday against Napoli.”

Milos Krasic was again disappointing and substituted in the second half.

“We are working intensely with Krasic, who has quality and it’s up to me to bring that out. I’ll work with all my strength to make him a key player for Juventus.”
