The thing u dont want to adress is that Conte is no THAT good as you want to make him look. If the board was not ambitious they would have not signed players like Tevez and LLorente, and they would not be after sanchez right now...

BECAUSE YES, THOSE PLAYERS IS BEING AMBITIOUS FOR US!!. because if by being ambitious you mean to buy the dimarias and Falcaos of the world,, then you need a serious reality check...as we are faaaar from that league.

But whatever man,
the board were supposedly after the likes of suarez, aguero and more. Doesn't mean to say they signed them though. talk is cheap

the fact is we lack the necessary quality needed to push in europe yet Conte seems to be the only one that recognises this problem and all you care about is how Conte is somehow the problem in all this.

we have been at the top for 3 years now, if there was ever a time which Juve could attract more big names it is now! the finances are there but Agnelli and the rest of his family are too tight to spend it on us! how is it they spend 400 mill on fucking cricket? invested money into the ferrari F1 team which in fairness has been a failure over the last few years, yet when it comes to Juve they won't even spare a penny when an opportunity for greater success is presented to them?

agreed. here's a thought though:

what if conte knows something we dont? what if he knows there is going to be a significant cash injection, but Marota and Agnelli are planning to use to pay off the debts first, then use this next year when our budget hits the green, but conte wants to use most of it this year instead?

if we are to assume that the managment works with the coach, then they would let him know before hand what their budget is like. this is the only thing that makes sense to me, a major cash injection from outside the club that the club are secretive about.
You might be on to something here Lion. I have been believing for a while that some capital injection will come our way, but earliest next fall, or even next spring as they cannot do it before the annual meeting which is usually held somewhere in October/November. I have my reasons to believe that such injections is necessary for us, looking at certain indicators. We'll see mate. And also one fact; Exor sold SGS last year for a record profit of 1b of Euros. Some of it, very small cut, is bound to find its way over here IMO.

As far as Italian coaches go, I'd only take Montella and Prandelli (Not keen on him but 10x better than Spaletti/Allegri)

Of course, you have Carlo and Lippi but they for me are next to impossible. Unless Madrid throw a typical tantrum and sack Carlo if he loses the CL final.

So maybe Atletico winning the CL could get us big Carlo. :touched:
Do you really want Ancelotti? He was a laughing stock at Juve.

You're forgetting that we're not owned by Arabs and Agnelli's wealth wasn't acquired over one night and lucky discovery of world's most sought resource. They are naturally careful when it comes to investing, and cautious as they tend to have lot of securities in their assets, various financial papers and prices of these fluctuate, often influenced by economic cycles, but they haven't been cheapskates since they took over. The sum they have invested is impressive.

Only high tempered coaches or douchebag-coaches win trophies. Unless our next coach possess these qualities, we won't win.

Montella is a very good tactician, just like Allegri is, but they don't have the balls to win consistently.

SAF...Mourinho...Trapattoni...Lippi....Conte....Van Gaal....Ancelotti....Heyncknes....Klopp.....

What these people have in common is that they would throw their own mother under the bus, to win.

Who though?

Chelsea - Taken
United - Taken or will be shortly
PSG - Not again
Monaco - Have 0 prestige or pull. Like a poor mans Man City

City - Taken
Arsenal - Laughed out loud as I typed that

Bayern - Taken
Dortmund - Taken

As you see, any job that offers a ridiculous budget is currently taken except the UTD job, although LVG will probably have that soon enough. There is no elite club or mega rich club that is actively seeking a new manager and the managers that they do have are generally top class anyway.

Of course, this is providing Madrid lose the CL and sack Carlo, which imo is unlikely.

I'm fully aware of that but what i can't accept is how our parent company are pumping millions in to their other profiles, i mean 400 mill in cricket? FUCKING CRICKET? do Italians even know what that shit stain of a sport actually is? and the millions they pump into Ferrari F1 and all their other portfolios. even if it means a loan then fine, our commercial success will continue to grow at least, progress will be made and paid back. But for crying out loud don't just stop now! and regress! as i keep saying the future of Conte can either be catastrophic both on and off the field or it can yield further success especially commercially. I know which i'd rather choose.

Cricket

I still have no idea how Cricket makes any money at all

Flicking through Sky Sports or on SSN I see really major games of Cricket and there's like 200 fans between the two teams.

Even worse at club level, and only a handful of countries take it seriously

Yeah, if Cricket is getting a 400M investment, we deserve at least 1/4 of that. Although in the ideal world cricket deserves no Exor investment at all.

There's a reason why they prefer to invest to Ferrari and F1. Huge profit margins, like it or not investing in football clubs is the worst thing to do right now, when you basically have a very small chance to recoup you initial investment. Everything they have invested so far in Juventus is waste of money for them. Ask yourself this question; would you have a company whose worth is 300-400m, but in all likeliness you are not gonna have any financial benefits?

IIRC exor gave us a loan of 155million, without rent
They did even better; increased ownership percentage by 7-8% for 150m. In addition to that they give us cheap loans every year. We really cannot ask for more.

i dont know what shiting cricket team they are financing (they probably own a meaningless club) but 400M is ridiculus. what the fuck does a cricket team need 400M for? are the players expensive? is their yearly outcome over 300M so they need the 400M to balance it? i dont understand, how is cricket worth 400M, when probably 8/10 people on this planet dont even know what cricket is...
