exactly. Conte only cares about the performances of players. he "ruined" the selling price of players he doesent need (Iaquinta, Ziegler :D). if he feels you cant answer his tactical needs you wont play even if you were Ronaldo and Zidane at the same time...

The way Conte was praising Osvaldo in the post match interview really does sugguest that he wants to keep him. Not sure what Conte sees in him, especially after a bad match like the one against Catania.

connecting with the team, weighing on the opponent defence and smart movement.

That lay off at tevez's goal, was no coincidence, its exactly what conte wants from his deep striker

indeed, and winning serie a certainly doesn't fall in that category ;)
I wouldnt have expected someone like you would remember where we came from since 2007, and that its entirely our own victory that we came from down in serie b and few years later, make roflstomping serie a look easy.

Its not easy actually, but we are just that good.

Brendan Rogers' work is almost comparable to Conte's. All he needs is PL title, and I'd call it equally impressive. Their competition is significantly stiffer.

indeed. chelsea's and city's squads are so complete it's actually a work of a miracle that we are where we are. :agree:

exactly, but if i were to say that, they'd say i'm biased and a typical "epl fan". no wonder your league is still stuck in the 90s :)
Nah, it's an Italian thing. They all think they're a first world country ( ), the american italian compare themselves to the big shot mafioso's, clinging on to the vatican to remain relevant. It's more than just football imo.

Actually, its a biased and typical epl fan that keeps repeating we are still stuck in the 90s, whilst EPL on its own is in decline

Wich has much to do with why liverpool suddenly became relevant

i agree with you that the epl is in decline compared to previous years, but your ignorance knows no bounds and you have to make a fool out of yourself in every post. liverpool's season so far has been magnificent, and that being said, we are competing with 2 of the biggest teams in europe. we'd probably be topping the league if we were in serie a. imagine suarez there.

Oh, dear, you'd be mistaken. Suarez is a magnificent player, easely my favorite player in the entire EPL. But in serie a, thats not enough. Teams would just tactically limit suarez and play negative football against him. Juventus gets this on tevez, but because we have quality in every line, and superior duelling power, we get around that problem.
Liverpool does well in the epl because they cant defend as a team there, and thats exactly what a guy like suarez needs. all that space.

In terms of "big in europe", the EPL hardly has a team in the top5.

Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern, are clearly better then anything from the EPL, whilst PSG has a better balanced team then chelsea, and athletico could challenge any EPL team .

Serie a has a transitional year. Fiorentina and Roma are doing well, whilst Juventus and Napoli are adapting to new keyplayers and coach(napoli)

Arsenal was lucky with their dortmund game, or they would have gone out and Napoli trough to the knockouts.
Whilst juve was struggeling with form, and a completely new frontline

As a result, now that juve's frontline is strongly standing, and napoli is finding its strenghts of the new players despite hamsic poor form, they got better
Juve and Napoli could go against any team from the EPL and give them a challenge. And if Napoli improves their defence in the summer, they'll be pretty damn good in cup competitions
