IF we could have aguero then, we would be extremely fastpaced with aguero, krasic and bastos(in a lesser extend) considering pirlo's passing ability

just see how many times milan scored because he launched pato. and every damn defence knew it yet it kept working.
we would have 3 fast players.

i'm not comparing conte, i'm only pointing out that even a world class coach without the key players he needs, isnt close to getting the best out of a team

chiellini is the best central defender under 30 purely based on defensive qualities and anticipation, he is also the fastest and for his size extremely aguile and hard to get past
however, like all of juventus at the moment, he isnt a leading centreback.
put chiellini next to an expirienced centreback who leads the backline, and he is the best on his position

Carvalho has played the season with decent fullbacks while Chiellini played with Serie C material fullbacks. Big difference.

I actually do and I am a center back and I can tell you, when the fullback besides you suck, it is very hard to cover for all his mistake and in the process, you jeopardize your own role since you have to cover up.

It's not about ball playing.

I like a CB pairing to consist of one player who looks to move forward and attack the ball and one who looks to cover round and almost play sweeper.

Chiellini and Vidic are both best when they can go forward and attack the ball.

Chiellini was best when playing with Legrottaglie and Vidic is best with Ferdinand, both those guys are composed and look to cover in behind.
