Why the facepalm?

He's good and we need him now. Tomorrow will be the decisive day it seems. Loan with the rights to buy.

Sounds great IMO.
I can't wait...I feel like he would be a mix of totti perhaps...just plays a bit more behind were totts would play.
Just wait a few hours.
:alen:
Btw, how we are going to play when Momo, Melo, Marchi and Candreva will be fit? :shifty: (like at the moment, I'm not even thinking of Poulsen etc)
They will never "all" be fit...come on man, look at our injury list for the list 2 years.
2 goals in 101 games, thats hardly a goal machine.
 Someone always has to come and ruin the mood with a bad stat!

I am excited, is it possible that we might actually have a midfielder that can pass the ball? Hopefully its a done deal today with Zala out the door...as Os said (I think)...I had hopes for ekdal, but antonio is better for what we need atm.

This is just wrong, we shouldn't sign this player. He's a trequartista and thats where he's been playing good football. If we sign him and play him as a regular CM there is a big possibility that he will fail and end up on the bench behind Diego.

Duuuuude, he is not limited to being a trequartista and would be terrible elsewhere. I seen him play DM, SM, AM and mostly as a CM (all in Azzurrini). He is the latter most of all, if you give him bit offensive freedom as a box to box player who goes forward, shoots and passes.

But No he is no trequartista strictly speaking (drop the Totti stuff Hustini  ), far from someone who is limited to that alone. More closer to being a offensive CM then that.

Wow, someone with pace and will to prove something. I feel it's time to bench Melo if we get this guy. He is kinda similar to our own Marchisio, isn't he? Not a magician, but a CM, that is capable of some action upfront.

not with a 4231....he can pretty much play anywhere in midfield if you need him too. I supposed in could play in the 3 of a 4312 as well which might not be a bad idea if our DMs are up to the task of doing their jobs properly.

haha, I tried that twice...once last night too but not one picked up on it, except you. But then again I am not surprised, you are usually the one who enjoys picking my posts apart:D
Damn , he is worth the shot , loan him i say , if he does good lets buy him or vice versa .
Did......you........just.........say.........loan.........him.......?

Pastorello on Sky said that it can be done but it's unlikely to happen today or tomorrow because three teams are involved in all this.

Still, chances are very good.
I am going to go make strawberry poptarts and get a nice cool glass of milk to wash it down with....I expect some more "concrete" news on the matter by the time I get back.:turk:

Well, we should wrap up the deal quickly if we're thinking of using him next Saturday...

I dont like picking your posts apart, but you have a habit of riling yourself up (even joking) :D I'll happily steer you from future frustrations. But in this case you were a danger to the mental health of others, imagine hyping him up to as not only Totti like talent, but Totti also Totti type of position (Suns thinks that already), these vicious mob would go apeshit crazy on him when they realize he isnt :p

As pitbull said, he closer to Marchisio, but being more versatile and defenitely offensively capable (Claudio supports and supplements well, while Candreva can initiate things more).
