If he still sucks after this season than yeah, sell by all means. The thing is Ogbonna might attract interest, as he has some defensive traits, while it will be very difficult to offload Bonucci. Appart from his ball playing skills, which are terribly overrated btw, he is incapable of putting in decent defensive shift. I really cannot see who would be interested in that pseudo defender.

Why would Ogbonna attract more interest?

Bonucci is an international who basically plays all the time, while Ogbonna is, well, Ogbonna.

I just have read that there are some offers for him, from various clubs form various coutries, and these suitors are ready to spend relatively big money for his card (10-15m or so). We allegedly received a bid from Valencia couple of days ago, we accepted it, but Ogbonna turned it down. I don't know the reason, but there is high possibility that we gonna cash-in Angelo anyway, and maybe than will be the right time to strenghten some other departments. At least I hope that we are going to allocate the money from this transfer to purchase winger.

He's not going to double his awareness and intelligence with age alone.

He has the physical qualities but mentally he looks fragile as hell. And he's closer to 30 than he is 20, not like we're talking about a young prospect now.


At best he'd be an acceptable player for a Lazio level club.
