The SBA is a creature of myth not unlike Pegasus, Buraq, Garuda and the Phoenix. The caricature of a man, but with abilities far exceeding that of mortals. They can be distinguished by their glistening jet black skin, like Dany's dragon "Drogon" in the HBO series Game of Thrones. But the 100%, your money back guarantee, distinguishing feature of the SBA is the massive (we're talking Herman Melville Moby Dick) pronounced bulge in their nether regions, which one might mistake for a grotesque growth or extra limb/appendage, but is actually the source of their power. This is their 'gift' from Ogbonna, West African snake god of fertility and sexual happiness. Just as Odin blessed Thor with Mjolnir to smite all before him; or as Zeus blessed Heracles with his strength and wit. Ogbonna blessed the SBA with the 'gift' (think of a can of pringles for the 'gifts' dimensions). In ancient european folk lore, a Unicorn's horn was said to have the power to render poisoned water potable and to heal sickness. In ancient African folklore, the 'gift' has the power to bring women to big bang universe altering orgasms that render them unconscious physically, but spiritually elevates them to Nirvana.

That is what an SBA is. Michael Jordan, Jim Brown, Usain Bolt, Phil "the gift" Heath, Ronnie Coleman, Nick "the cannon" Cannon, Pogba, Ogbonna, Asamoah, King Kong, de Brothas like Jamal and Bokeem in de club....... No ammount of Pelvic floor excercises can prepare the honeys for the 'Gift'.

If he still sucks after this season than yeah, sell by all means. The thing is Ogbonna might attract interest, as he has some defensive traits, while it will be very difficult to offload Bonucci. Appart from his ball playing skills, which are terribly overrated btw, he is incapable of putting in decent defensive shift. I really cannot see who would be interested in that pseudo defender.

they are both shite...and with Barzagli being old and fragile im scared shiteless to think of what the future holds for us in defence.

Unlike Bonucci, Ogbonna has been given very little time to prove himself and im sure he is more capable than he currently shows but even then it not good enough. Bonucci is just fuking sad...all that playing time and he is still hopeless hiding behind what Barzagli and Chiellini do best.

Answer is play 4 at the back...pray Barzagli gets fit and stays healthy for one more season, meanwhile draft in a player like Nastasic, hope Caceres can improve somewhat and sell Ogbonna and Bonucci. And pray some more that Chiellini and Barzagli can somehow play every game this season.

We do need to give him another season, but I'm fearful for him. He looks like one of those players who doesn't have the belief to play for Juve, the mental strength. But like all players it's difficult to come into a team here and there and play at a good level.

As for pre-season games I really couldn't give a shit, mistakes happen all the time with new team mates, systems, coaches, fitness levels etc.

He is for sure very talented ball-playing defender but he lacks concentration at times, he is irresponsible and blunder-prone. These elements are easy to improve, as they are not some physical disadvantages or technical limitations. Ogbonna has mental problems and good coach will be able to squeeze the best out of him.

 I suspect he would look better in a 4 man back line as well.
