Watching that gif repeatedly it seems that Cacares is more to blame. On the first one it's evident that he lost the track of him. Definitely not suitable for CB. Buffon in the end tried to reduce the damage, but it was perfect control and exquisite finish. Not too many forwards could pull it like that. It looks easier than it really was.

Ogbonna hasn't been that bad. Had some nice games along the way and it's his first season here. Give it time.

yes cos I support the country I am from

and yes we have talents for the future. but I am a not a fan of van gaals choices now a days.

veltman, klmaasen, willems etc all have the potential to be dutch NT but right now they don't have anything to look for in national team.

if you Google translate my last post in dutch thread you would understand my point.
I have no idea what you are talking about, you wrote Pogba off and you are laughing at people writing Ogbonna off. I'd rather see people writing Ogbonna off to be honest because writing Pogba off is only jealousy.

Once again, there's no doubt that Cáceres is to blame for the goal. Anyone stating otherwise has never set a foot on a football pitch as a defender.

Either Martin needs to communicate to Ogbonna that he should push up (for an offside) or drop down (so that he can clear the ball). Cáceres does neither, marks Gomez himself and then drops him just before he receives the ball.

Martin chooses the lazy option. You can often get away with that, but not always. Been there, done that.

Say Ogbonna plays closer to Gomez (like some believe he should) and Ilicic passes the ball short to Borja Valero instead. Borja would have tons of space in front of the box and Ogbonna would be out of position.

if you see the goal, he is slightly higher up the pitch in the lcb position
stupid. why the fuck are we playing with a 5 in defence if the centre backs are going to push forward. do u see dante or thiago silva push forward as if they are wingers? we put more defensive players in the pitch and we start to make ore defensive mistakes? how the hell does that work?.

I don't know when but saying he is the next Eljero Elia IS writing someone off.
:sergio:

i didn't dat that about pogba. i didn't expect Him to get playing time just like elia the year before. that had nothing to do with pogba himself
