Whoever thinks Anelka would fill Zalayeta's spot is on some serious acid shit, the term "bench" does not exist in his vocabulary. If this goes through it would definetly rank among the top 5 first Juve moves in history, far worse than Boumsong.

Anelka is about 7,8 years away from the "this guy is talented" period. He's just a player that failed big time to fulfill his potential and one of the biggest overhyped players that came out of the Brittish press. After one good season at Arsenal he was extremelly hyped up and Real, figures, came and cashed up for a 18 year old player that would sell them some shirts, which he most certainly did.

Anelka always had too many cons and too little pros, his talent was always undermined by his mentality, his career ended the day he signed for Real.

I wouldn't mind Anelka, after stints at Fener and Bolton it seems he has been finally humbled. He seems to be trying hard to get rid of his notorious reputation, i say why not, though i prefer Djibril Cisse.

Anelka is good!

To increase the tension & spoill the atmosphere in the dressing room!
Thats the reason he was left from Arsenal & NT, he recently changed his additue...
At least he sais so I might prefeer 'bad boy' in our team but to be bad against the other teams:D One way or the other I still don't want him

Of all the crap that those tabliods dish out, this has to be the most rediculous. We dont need attackers, we should try to keep the ones we have. And if we're buying anybody, then Huntelar cuz he's young.

A has-been like anelka should make the wish list of a team like Blackburn or Chievo at best.
