Hey guys I was wondering if there is any way/app that can give me customizable sms vibration? Also auto brightness sounds good. Is it an app?

I just downloaded it. Seems a tad laggy. But I like the idea of it. Im trying to make it vibrate more than once if I don't read an sms like after 2 minutes. Thanks

For auto brightness, go to Settings, Display, Brightness, and check the box for Auto brightness. No app is necessary for this.

Handcent sms has the option of custom vibrate patterns. But I'm not sure if it can do that 'vibrate after 2 mins' thing.

Edit: oh wait... It does have this option. It's called Reminder.

Yeah I have it. Ok i can't get it to vibrate if I haven't seen the message it only does the once..also any way to take off the quick reply? So everyone can't see the message.

Just dig around in the Settings man. You should find it there.

Yeah, auto brightness is a big convenience especially if you go out into the sun.

Ok, that was way before halfway through, it was half way through the first progress meter :cheesy:

I am done, I have now 2.3.3 and there is some progress there. The quick settings tab in the notification is just dandy. The phone is faster but HTC has took off some of the widgets from Sense, one of them a clock that I really like.

But I had a problem today even before upgrading, I can't mount my SD card via USB nor I can do tethering via USB, the only thing I can do via USB is charge the phone. What shall I do?

I feel so stupid, I was using a USB cable that came with the car charger and apparently it lacks the data pins. I used the normal USB cable and it worked well.
