I tried that. I was thinking something like a button that turns proxy on or off. Something like how proxy works on Internet Explorer where you have a check-box in LAN settings that you check when you need to use proxy, and the previous proxy is saved there.

And no, my phone is not rooted. I'm still new to this and I still don't feel the need to root the phone.
You might be a guru, but you are an incompetent one. :stuckup:

I think HTC Desire HD will be very hard for him as he is an old man :D

I'd get him a regular phone or flip phone tbh. If he's old and doesn't care about that shit, he'll probably just find it a hassle. My mom doesn't even know what to do with mine, the lack of buttons freaks em out :lol:
